for the rare beauty blush, what about applying a dot to the back of your hand and dipping lightly into that with your finger/sponge/brush for a less heavy application?
If I apply too much blush I go over that with my sponge that I applied my concealer with and it (for some reason) helps to blend in the blush and make it look more natural.
i love the idea of tracking usage! i saw a video the other day where a youtuber would track her clothes throughout a year and it really helped her w/ decluttering + understanding her personal style better.
I actually very recently bought that exact shade of the reckon lipstick, untold stories, because I saw Alexandra Anele here on TH-cam talk about how it’s really nice for both the lips and cheeks. It truly does work really wear on the cheeks as well so if you’re not into the nude color on your lips currently, you should try it on the cheeks! I love it, it looks natural and the formula worked well at least for me on the cheeks
I stopped wearing makeup when the pandemic began, but doing a project pan is now part of my 2022 resolution to 1) to be awake and ready when I start wfh in the morning and 2) reduce waste of unused product. Glad you've been picking up this interest too. :)
The amount of Rare Beauty blush that you applied with the very first dab (before you added more) is about how much I start with. Otherwise like you said, it’s so pigmented that it gets too strong quickly! But my fav application method is to dot on the back of my hand and work it into a fluffy brush, then apply for a more diffused look

I’ve been going through the same with nude lip colors! I used to be obsessed with finding the perfect nude and now any time a put a nude lip on I feel like I look sick and washed out and just gross. I gravitate more to berry, red or pink lip colors now
You might be able to use blush as eyeshadow base and maybe the lipsticks/highlighter as blush. The brow wax, maybe try as eyeliner? And if you truly don’t love them, then it’ll just sit there until the end of time lol. I felt like that with the L’Oréal glotion
I bought a few eyeshadow palettes that are a bit warm toned this time of year. I like the formula and I need to remember that I am super pale in the Winter. Come summertime, these tones will be so lovely.
I find it so funny that you don’t use the Em Cosmetics highlighter often because it’s a cushion, but I use it so often because it’s a cushion 😂😂 I really like powder products (besides eyeshadow), and I feel like liquid highlighters are so troublesome. Still waiting to try the CT highlighting wand though! It was recently restocked, but it sold out again 😓😓

I can't get myself to use my colour corrector either. I have the Pixi one, and it's quite nice, but it feels like an extra step and I get lazy 😩
