It wasn't originally made for CLC, it was just that CLC originally decided to buy the rights to it but Cube was too late to do so. It was open for anyone hence why CJM took it first!

What happened was that CLC DID sing the demo for La vie en rose, and seemingly were planning to buy the song aswell, but had not bought it yet. Cube however also admitted later that they didn't give the song to CLC cause, and I quote, ''since cube thought the company wouldn't be capable to promo clc good enough, the song would be wasted''. The producer seemingly then went and sold it to IZ*ONE. So technically it wasnt CLC's yet, but they clearly were planning to buy it and CUBE screwed them over

The producer of the song was under cube contract (belonged to cube) at the time la vie en rose was produced and naturally they were planning to give it to clc. CLC had trained for the choreo and giving hints for the fans, preparing a whole comeback with the song. But in meantime the producers contract had ended with cube which means he could sell off the song to someone else, which he did, since he knew cj enm would pay better. Cube did a very bad job at securing the song for clc and their reason for not buying the song was just an excuse for bad management and planning, since they knew exactly when producers contract with them was ending,

Mashiro is great at understanding and interpreting this song. Despite the small number of songs, the facial expressions, the atmosphere, everything is perfect and beautiful. You can feel the change in expression that is completely different from the previous wa da da and UP.

I mean I know they probably didn't want to overlap concepts with IZONE but honestly, they should go for a elegant and classy concept.
