Never got into spinners BUT a Steampunk spinner? Now thats something i can dig! Would be cool in a futuristic film where mankind is long gone and robots rule the world...They use these spinners to calibrate their timing!

If you don't have that handy dandy deburring tool you can use a marble, bigger than the pipe, and a piece of sand paper. You put the sand paper on the pipe opening (grit down) and the marble on top and work it back and forth until the pipe is deburred.

Oh this looks kinda easy you only need a metal pipe, a blow torch, a special pipe cutter thing, a thin metal rod, bearings, sandpaper, a towel, a little bit of metal polisher and maybe some acetone. Easy ;-;
Just wondering if you have a lathe? You could put the copper pipe rings on a wooden mandrel at a low speed to perform the sanding and polishing. Would have saved yourself a lot of time and manual effort. Just a suggestion.
my only dislike of this video was the cleaning of the bearing with a wd40 I've been long boarding long before these became cool and one of the worst products to use on bearings is wd40 its not a lube but rather just dries out all the lubricant in the bearing (and yes cleans out all the rust and dirt left within the bearing as well) I just wonder how much better that spinner would've span if the bearings had been relubricated afterwords..... beautiful spinner all in all and just fun to watch huge thumbs up from me 😁
Any idea what he used after the WD-40? All I could make out is Wahl, so I'm assuming it's a lubricant of some sort. Just wondering if it's silicone based or oil based.
I would like to make a couple of these for some friends of mine, I bought standard skate board bearings and 3/4" copper pipe fittings and they do not fit tightly together, any recommendations on bearing size?
Professionally done, the efficiency is very well. I recently made a tutorial on a diy fidget spinner (on my channel) but I wouldn't say it's as perfect as this one.
