It can be easily missed in a punch biopsy. A deeper, incisional biopsy is needed. 🤬 And the sample can take up to three WEEKS to grow! No wonder US doctors, labs, and dermatologists are ignorant. And unwilling to perform the lengthy work. If it’s not cancer, they don’t know what else to do, or suggest. Meanwhile, patients suffer, get worse, and don’t know what to try to research, or where to turn. And an appointment with Mayo Clinic is never covered by their insurance. 😡

I've been taking SSKI Potassium iodide for 2 months and I'm finally getting cleared up after 6 year's of being misdiagnosed. I'm not a doctor nor am I telling you to take potassium iodide. I'm just telling you about my ordeal with sporotrichosis. Take care. The unknown cat on TH-cam is truly to thank for my recovery. Check out his video's. God bless

One word comes to my immediate attention....Morgellons! I see a version of all of these shown in video coming from my skin, and has totally infected my home. If I had any where to go. I swear some days I would rather light a match, because I can cannot get it under control. It's been 3 years now just since I've noticed the lesions and the effects it's had on my home, but a good day of cleaning will put me physically drained and sick for a week with a new set of lesions and a month of Sunday's before they even begin to heal. My life is wasting bc it's a night and day battle. Prayers and thoughts are with all who suffer! God Bless!

@@tarragrant5699 I'm almost lesion free after 6 years of being misdiagnosed. I've been religiously taking potassium iodide (SSKI) for 3 months now. I'll be taking it for another 3 months. My health has drastically improved. Morgellons is a real disease also know as Sporotrichosis which is a common fungal infection. "The unknown cat" youtuber saved my life. Many blessings for you and your family.

Quest Lab has NEW , faster, more accurate tests to ID fungi! Some tests use blood, and some use urine (or can also use mucus, or other body fluids.) PATIENTS: look these up so YOU will know what to request from your doctors!
