The Lord used this song to change my life a few months ago, and it touches me so deeply even now to hear that the testimony behind it is so similar to what I have dealt with in the past, and particularly what the Lord delivered me from, with the help of this song.
When we are not distracted by the things of this world, when we are so focused on the burning eyes of Jesus Christ, when we lay down our lives for the gospel and allow ourselves to be wholly used as vessels for the glory of God, amazing things happen. It all begins with absolute surrender.
This song has been wrecking me, because his story is so similar to mine. To know that we don’t need anything else, just Him, He’s all we need. Nothing can fill us like He can.

Absolutely beautiful. Our perspective of who God is should not be tainted by what we've learnt from our earthly relationships. He is a good Father, gracious and merciful. Lamentations 3v22-23. Let us also learn to forgive ourselves as He has forgiven us. Do not wallow in shame or self pity, WE HAVE BEEN REDEEMED!!!
This song has ministered to me this year in such a deep and powerful way. And to hear how it came into being makes it more impactful. Thank you for your worship to Abba in midst of the struggle. I wondered why I was drawn by this song,,oh how I resonated with porn and how Papa God would say the same thing to me to sing and play my guitar, to him, after my shameful act of sinning. Can't help to share that this hit too close to home, being someone that has a very similar past to his I already loved the song before. What I didn't knew was the story, the testimony behind it, today I went to get it so I could share with my church for our daily devotional, but I dind't like the translation version that I found, but then I saw this video and since I had never saw him singing in person I decided to give it a go. When he started to speak, with such truth, such boldness and yet such grace my eyes teared up instantly, I am not someone that usualy cryes, but as he progressed in his testimony I just felt the loving presence of The Lord like He was embracing me in his arms and I just felt loved - being someone that is clean for already some time this spoke to me in the exact way that I needed right now - I have felt in the past exactly like he is describing and I could 100% relate to him, and so this was a lovely gift from God, in a time that I just was seeking His face and wanting to bless others I was overwhelmingly blessed. God's Good, all the time.
