@@blairboyd5617 Get off the emotional thing man and think. Stop making assumptions about a stranger on the internet you know nothing about. I was born and raised in Jamaica still living on the island. What I am trying to get across is that history is not black and white and simple as it was taught to us in school. There is a lot more to it. I am not denying what some of our ancestors went through at the hand of evil people. I am just saying not all black people in Jamaica experienced that period the same. If you don't know is ok but don't be disrespectful and make assumptions about someone you don't know. This is what I am simply trying to get across. 1. There are black people on the island who have been here long before everyone else 2. Not all Africans came to Jamaica in chains some came as free people 3. European, Irish, English, Scottish doesn't always mean white people there are blacks who got expelled from those countries. 4. Some people with black skin are our enemies their forefathers betrayed ours and their children are still playing their roles. 5. In ancient times societies weren't all about colour it was about culture and bloodline. Not telling anyone what to believe I don't mess with free will. All those ideas you have about how things were in the past I wondered where you got them. Every elder you talk to you will give a different version based on their family experience and what they were told by their elders. Some will just regurgitate the same thing they taught us in school. Only sticking one narrative will only keep us angry and prevent us from seeing our greatness. Our history is not just slavery it's a lot more our history is not just Africa it is the entire planet. The most youth clubs was almost in every district in Jamaica 🇯🇲, where sports was the order of the day in Jamaica. That is how some people useto get scholarships for high schools, from the various youth clubs sports. Eastern Friday boys flying kites, bun and cheese 🧀 across the country. Some districts played cricket 🏏 or football ⚽️, where it was a annual event. From emancipation day in Jamaica 🇯🇲,big day of beating of drums and dancing 💃. On independence day August 6th, festival all over Jamaica with jancuno, streets dancing in the night.Christmas marching beating drums singing Christmas corals, marching from district to district until day light. Things only changed for the worst when the jlp party won the election in 1980,and during the 80s things started to detourorated. The money was not really there anymore than so,because the Bauxite companies most of them was closed. The jlp party government ministers them joined with the United States government, to destroyed the ganja trade. That is why St,Elizabeth, Westmoreland, Hanover, St,James got hurt from the ganja trade is out.St,Ann ,St,Thomas and a few more parishes got hurt, because the money is not there anymore for people to enjoy themselves. The jlp party government ministers them should be hold accountable for the problems, that Jamaica is going through right now. I am not afraid of intimidation from anyone, I say it like how it is. It is really worst now,it is what they voted for, it is what they are now reaping ok 👌. The jlp party government ministers them is very, very corrupted and confusing over the handling of the country financial situation ok 👌.
Numbers 6 King James Version 22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, 24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. 27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

[Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"]. When God said to Hosea, "Do it!", the true sons of God had the same reaction. When God said to Isaiah, "Do it!", the true sons of God had the same reaction. It was never said that these prophets deviated or even that a prophet of God has ever deviated. That never called their ministry into question. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"]. 6 But God allowed that in order to drive out those who were not ordained to eternal Life, those whose names were not written in the book of Life of the Lamb before the foundation of the world. 23 But what does mankind want to prove to God? What do evangelical churches want to prove to God? That the woman that God minimizes is capable of many things? That woman is as efficient and intelligent as man? That a woman as priest, evangelist, apostle, pastor or song leader could have achieved her mission better than any man? She certainly can! But we, children of God, we oppose that, not by contempt or that she would be incapable in the eyes of men but because God did not give her to do it. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. Let’s read 1 Timothy 2:11-12 after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit: "... Let a woman learn in quietness in all subjection; but I do not suffer a woman to teach nor to exercise authority over man, but to be in quietness;" You see? If God has to enter in a church led by a woman, that woman must be thrown out, the pulpit must be thrown out and the church must be washed. Why? Because it is a cursed church. [Ed: The congregation says, “Amen!”]. God has never given to a woman to be a priest and no man of God can give this place to a woman. #ProphetKacouPhilippe

I don't know where you are from but I was born in Jamaica, and I cannot afford to forget what happened to my foreparents them. You are trying to tell me what to believe and what not to believe, you are very stupid. Becaused you are a semi lunatic, you are not apart of this conversation, so I strongly believes. That you should keep into your own lane, because this is a Jamaican lane ok 👌.
Be nice to people. If you think I am a young fool who dont know anything as an elder shouldn't you take the opportunity to educate?
Lovely

These people don’t have to listen to the government of Jamaica because the trinity state that they rule under there own law within the boundaries on there maps it’s crazy because you can’t take them to court because they know there rights I just think that the government of Jamaica need to get with these people and build a relationship because at the end of the day you can’t legally go against them

Do these ppl even understand tht there is a pandemic??? They live in Jamaica yet they think they are above the Jamaican laws??? Really.
There would be no Jamaica as you know it without Maroons. Respect our ancestors who fought for ALL of us.

Guess I left Jamaica too long ago, never heard of this festival, but we celebrate everything in Jamaica even the dead, but with the vivid and now omicron increasing Jamaicans never obey the law so what if a virus is killing others, long as she is selling there is no way it can be cancelled
You have some cyber bullies Jamaicans people especially the younger generation them, I don't know if they didn't attend school or not. But they are talking a lot of rubbish 🗑,about the intricacies of Jamaica 🇯🇲. Which they does not know what the hell they are saying, I was born in the 1950s .Before Jamaica gained independence August 6th 1962,so certain things. These younger generation does not know about, but because they are very egotistical towards the elders. That is why they are not learning at all about their history, they are like the wasps and the bees. The bee 🐝 show the wasps how to make the honey 🍯 comb and, they told the bee 🐝. That they can make honey 🍯 and that is why, the wasps cannot make honey at all. I saw where this guy is talking about historical celebrations in Jamaica and, that person does not know what he is saying. In my time growing up in Jamaica especially in the 1960s and early 1970s, there was so much celebrations going on in every parishes. Eastern Sunday all the churches have harvest Sunday and is. Easter Monday where they have harvest sales,it was a big day in Jamaica.
Numbers 6 King James Version
22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
5 When God said to Moses to take the Ethiopian woman, when God said to him, "Do it!", the true sons of God said, "We have not seen the Angel and the Lamb and we have not heard the Words the Lamb pronounced, but we entirely believe It …".
[Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"].
Was the celebration boring?..would you waste time to partake in their pagan practices
Them should listen and follow the rules, them nuh scare of the covid spreading there?I think it's because of greed
I used to love and respect the Maroons until I found out they were trading there black Brother's and Sister's for there (Maroons) freedom and goods back to there slave owners whenever they escaped.
To make it worst they used to hunt down escaped slaves an returned them to their master.
So you're going to hate people for what they ancestors done hundred of years ago I don't hate all white people I just hate the racist one
@@garfieldwillis4254 Never said that, look how they're acting right now, saying they're not apart of Jamaica when their agreement with the British never gave them that right.

@@kalrel3650 Definitely not, the one's you love is the only one's can truly hurt you.
People will say they love you yet they will be the same one trying to kill you, if they're loyal to you they would never think of doing that.
The answer is to treat each other as you would like that person(s) to treat you.

13 The Angel of Jehovah who appeared to the prophets in the Bible and led them and inspired them, is the true author of their acts and words. The Angel who appeared to Paul on the way to Damascus was the true author of all his letters and epistles. And this Angel is the Spirit of Paul and the fullness of the Holy Spirit in his generation. And the Angel who appeared to William Branham in 1933 at the Ohio River is the true author of his acts and everything he preached. And for our time, the Angel of April 24, 1993 is the Lord Jesus Christ and he is the Spirit of Kacou Philippe and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. And at the end of my days, when I am gone, he will spread over you and dwell with you and even in you until the day of the resurrection.
