What I find sad is those kids who are playing with swords now probably won't ever join a HEMA club or do anything sword related. I would imagine most guys would want to learn how to fight with swords (at least a lot), yet people just don't know where to find a club, or even think to look.
offcourse knights dont have plate on the cruch the knights usually fight on horse back a 200 300kg horse is protecting it, but armours made to fight on foot ore some incredibly expencibe royal armours are other story
I saw the Knights fighting a couple of years ago! They demonstrated weapons and weapon discipline, incredible experience and I've wanted to go back ever since. I had videos and pictures but the laptop they were on was stolen :( But I would definitely recommend Warwick Castle to anybody interested in Medieval castles! (I sucked at archery)
You noticed that about the reenactors as well. They all look like they came out of Central Casting. "We need 5 men at arms, tall, fair with fair to dark hair, full beard and powerful build. Must be willing to recite stilted lines in fake Merrie Olde England accents."

If you are referring to the castle in the Midlands. It's spelt Warwick.

Richard Neville, the Kingmaker, married into the Warwick family. His family were based in the north and his favoured home was Middleham Castle.
