That’s my local Gemma. I’m in there every time I’m in Cardiff Centre. Really great service and very helpful. Never leave empty handed. Highly recommended.
Hey up Gem! Happy birthday mate! 41 and looking incredible and still killing it. I'll never get bored of hearing your passion for video games. The way you talk about games, consoles, or your general nostalgia is infectious. Have a good day mate 💪😄👍❤️
Prices are all over the shop in there. I've had some good deals on cheaper/basic items but anything with a bit of rarity is priced mega high (as in way over market value).
Happy Birthday, Gemma. Thank you for the great video! This shop looks ace. I really liked the Dreamcast kiosk. I like how the shop seems to be named similarly to Super Potato in Japan. I went to Akihabara last year, it was awesome! I plan to go again next year. Keep up the great work.
Great to see another snes kiosk in the uk, I have the one on the original nintendo stand (M81c) with the original console. Used belong in a blockbusters !!! Densha de go is awesome, kids love playing it ( switch version) with the actual switch controller for it.. Awesome little shop !!!
I literally watched Adam Koralik’s new video covering the same store a few days ago. It is very interesting watching Adam’s vs Gemma’s take on the store. Also happy birthday Gemma!
Cool you gone to super tomatoes shop it's a brilliant shop got some cool stuff when I went there and gave me some great prices and deals. Awesome shop in Cardiff
What a rad store and owner! Sorry you didn't snag a SNES kiosk...this time. On the topic of game guides - long ago, I had a great one full of command-by-command solutions for old text adventures. I sold it because I thought it was redundant due to all of the online sources for game solutions that'd sprung up in the '90s. Well, those sites/newsgroups no longer exist in anything like the same way and I wish I still had the book! Never mind. Happy 41st birthday, mate. Maybe celebrate with a few games of Capcom shooter "1941: Counter Attack" :-)
25:34 Atari games, I had Activision Classics for PSP, which included 44 Atari 2600 games. I liked Pitfall! really much and game called Megamania, I used to play those games over 10 years ago. These days I have PSP 3000 and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. I'm looking for older games for my PSP, because I like retro-games really much.
Nice shop that Tom has and very nice to to see the old SNES kiosk again. Was that one meant to be for a table top rather than having its own stand? I agree, there is something nice about driving a train, Train Sim is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.
That’s awesome and interesting that there’s a Super Tomato game store located in the UK 🇬🇧 and there’s a Super Potato game store located in Tokyo Japan 🇯🇵
As a Spaniard that "hola" at the beginning , with such good pronunciation btw , caught me off guard.😳😳 Lastly and most importantly, I hope you enjoyed your birthday🎉🎉😊
That Kiosk need a CRT to properly do it justice, as these old games look pants on LCD's, you need those phosphors and scanlines to do the art justice, still cool though. I'd pair it with a nice 25" 600 TVL shadowmask personally, a presentation or arcade monitor will do the job nicely.
I am definitely a sucker for a good game guide. Luckily for me, they don't sell well in my town, so my local used game store sells them to me for around $5-10 CAD when they do come in.
The price was well over double what the market value is. You also have to be sensible. I don’t blame Tom for holding on to it. It’s mega sentimental for him
@@TheGebs24 aw some journey then by the sounds of it. Some nice finds mind, and the snes kiosk is a lovely piece mind. What local retro game stores are up your ways? Hope u enjoyed Cardiff for the time you was here to.
You got to feel bad for the owners of the shop. Because they paid and a whole lot of money to collect and save the retro gears it take them to show it off to the public. Sorry to many women but you couldn’t pay me enough to actually have me to sell my classic retro gear they were have stored away in a safe vault somewhere around soldiers of god! lol
Prices should be visible. A shop like that is a big no.
They are, they're on the back of items.
I live in South Wales (Swansea) and I've been to Super Tomato many times. His prices are very reasonable to out right amazing. A fantastic shop!

Thank you so much for the content you bring us! Great entertainment! Keep it up! 😊
Wow thank you so much for the kind words and Super Chat 🤘❤️
Your welcome! 😊
Love the Nintendo kiosk, though I would try to pair it up with an appropriate CRT TV. Also nice to see the SEGA SG-1000 Mark II down there.
Nice game shop there, Gem! Looks so amazing inside & and I hope you brought great pickups there!

Super Tom, legend of the sport. Lovely guy!

Happy Birthday Gemma Hope your having a wonderful Retro Day❤😊🎂🎮.
Thanks Carter mate
This seems like a fantastic little retro shop including Snes, Megadrive, Gameboy & more, Yet again a brilliant video❤️😁🎮🕹🎮
What would you have bought?
@TheGebs24 Well I'd definitely would have brought the Snes Arcade Machine because it looks pretty cool😁👍👍
So glad you made it there Gem, just a shame I couldnt come to meet you.
We’ve got all the time in the world mate.

Very nice video..Happy birthday Jemma..I wish you to get one day the kiosk..And remember you don't get older..you level up 😉
I just saw Adam Koralik posted a video from this store yesterday, nice little shop
I saw. Totally cool
Same here, some overlap in their videos but also definitely their own perspectives and interests within the shop.
Was an amusing coincidence to be honest. Thanks for watching!
Happy Birthday Gemma! Hope you had a banger! Much love from AUS! ❤
Looked absolutely amazing there! So much good Japanese stuff in there!
He should put prices on his stock
He does, prices are on the back of stuff.
Happy birthday Gem thats an amazing shop 😊
Happy Birthday, Gemma 🙂
I'm currently in club 41 so you're in good company LOL.
Yay, thank you!
Happy belated birthday 🎉
These videos are always so fun.

Very cool. I have the uncensored version of the Neo Geo game! Would be cool to own both one day. Awesome shop! Love the kiosks!
I want the kiosk soooo bad

Man like X! So originally, the stands were sold separately for retail stores. These should clip on to the base units really easy 😄
I was in Japan the other week and I saw that Master System. I actually thought it was imported, didn’t realise they had that design too.
I didn’t realise until this episode. Well, filming it at least 🤨
That’s awesome and interesting that there’s a Super Tomato game store located in the UK 🇬🇧 and there’s a Super Potato game store located in Tokyo Japan 🇯🇵
No prices on anything? Seems more like a big game room than a shop.
Prices are on the back of stuff.
Great to see you made down to my neck of the woods and checked out Super Tomato!

Very jealous of that street fighter 3 pickup!
Great little shop brev! I can’t believe you didn’t pick up the ninja on Sega MS it’s a banger!
Gem the right one will come along TRUST ❤❤❤
Thank you my lovely 🥰
Reece, I REALLY HOPE SO. I want one so bad. I’d cry if I got one ❤️❤️
@@TheGebs24 TRUST ME ON THIS gem!! Everything will work out ❤️❤️
I like this episode. This guy has got some choice stuffs
Agreed. Tom has a fab store
neo geo 👍👍, great shop it has a 90s vibe
I got rid of my SNES a few weeks ago. I've still got Unirally kicking around somewhere.

Tom seems so passionate. Absolutely fantastic to see
Couldn't agree more!
As a regular customer he has something very interesting currently
Burnout 2 was my favourite, crash for cash junctions were second to none 👌
I got two more Burnout games for the PS2 today too
I miss the burnout game so much! Criterion need to make another one! - or at least remaster 2 and 3!
We defo need another Burnout game
Agreed! I have so many hours in those games. And many more to give!!!
awesome video gemma!!!!!!!!!
strange seeing you in my old go-to game shop!
@@TristunYTAccount Why so strange?
@@TheGebs24 been watching you for years, just had a bit of a shock 🤣
Happy Birthday!
Happy belated bday!
Wonder why he called it Super Tomato?
Awesome video!!! New store added to my list, can anyone recommend a store i can check out??? Not bothered about distance in west midlands
Where is it for a 4hr drive?
I think sometimes you just need to bite the bullet and get stuff while you can....save up and go back.
The price was well over double what the market value is. You also have to be sensible. I don’t blame Tom for holding on to it. It’s mega sentimental for him
@TheGebs24 but how many do you see about? How many for sale? Market value is what people will pay and if it's your grail, maybe it's worth it?
@@lepterfirefall How much do you think he wanted?
@TheGebs24 ooo..good question...1k?
@@lepterfirefall 🤣🤣🤣 I WISH!! Try over £5K
Japan!! 🇯🇵 ❤
Cool shop but i can't see prices on stuff, i would find it super annoying to keep asking for the price for every single thing.
Especially when the owner of the actual shop doesn't have a clue on prices 😂
@@garethperry3575 so he basically Can charge you anything he wants just going on how's he is feeling that day lol
The prices are on the back of each item.
How much for the Neo Geo AEC?
I don’t recall. Drop him a DM on FB
Happy birthday.
I'd take that mvs 6 slot
Kiosks are definitely not my thing. Too much space, stand up play and controllers tied down. A showpiece it is.
That’s my local

I literally had a 2 hour window. A ten hour round trip too 🤣🤣🤣
