He contradicted himself several times during the interview, and he allowed an awful lot of “I won’t name names” to get in the way of dealing with concrete criticism. This interview comes off fairly well, but despite some of the questions, it’s clear that the interviewer had his back
Grown up? he was already grown up before it's not like Mark is 20, or even 30.. he is in his 40s... He just was doing it for views+subs... now he doesn't need to act cringe and yell/scream.. we get it.
There is no other Manchester United fan channel I would trust more to interview someone than Webby & O'Neill. Open, honest and real conversations that just want the best for the club and its fans. No BS, just saying it how it is. Keep up the great work lads.
Tony's acceptance of United fans from outside of Manchester is awesome. I'm not from Manchester but I've followed United since I was a kid. I've put my son in the Stretford End when he was 6yrs old. Same as me , been following United sice 1974, going to games home & away. Had the pleasure of taking my 8 year old Grandson to his 1st game in January past 2-2 with Spurs. Met Tony & he was brilliant with him.

As a Manchester United fan from New York, I discovered fan channels in 2020. The United Stand, Stretford paddock, Webby and O' Neill are the first i found. Eventually, I discovered through the algorithm Alice Talks Football , the United View, the Football Terrace, and the Rio Ferdinand channels, the Overlap, etc. I am happy to see this interview. Great job.

Rashford,Dalot,Bruno,Maguire,Lindelof He did buy a few stinkers (Zirkee, anthony), most are actually improvements from Ole team: martinez, deligt, holjund, yoro, mazouri.. even casemiro was good for a season but his age caught up with him. Mazraoui > Bisaka Martinez + Deligt > Maguire + lindelof Holjund (no service) > Igalo or rashford upfront Mainoo Eriksen > Fred & Mctominay Casemiro > Matic (for about a season, still offers something) The problem is way bigger than just ETH. There is so much revisionism around our performances before ETH, based on a few memorable Ole games. Did you expect us to be winning the league after a few signings?

Hi Tony, I have to say I have massive respect for you doing this interview. Really respectful, not avoiding the difficult questions - exactly how it should be. Mark is unfairly demonised by some sections of the United fanbase, and I think this video will go a long way to reducing the division. Cracking job, mate 👏
You have to give Mark some dues, he had to deal with another Man Utd youtuber doxxing him and threatening to kill him very early in the united stand journey, and numerous people use him to start their own youtube careers, constantly doubting his allegiance but kept going to build what he has.
Mark and Ste just need to bury the hatchet. From Ste’s perspective Mark was massively in the wrong harassing him, and vice versa. Surprised how well spoken both of them are and this hasn’t been resolved after 10 years.

I'm a life-long MUFC fan who was introduced to Goldbridge by my son and discovered W&O a couple of years ago. There is room for more than one platform so long as they are passionate and honest about our beautiful club. My first experience was in losing 1-0 to Southampton in the FA Cup Final and worst experience coming back from 2-0 down, only for Alan Sunderland to destroy us 3-2 in another FA Cup Final defeat... but, my best feeling by far was coming back from a goal down with the ref looking at his watch only for Teddy and Ole Gunner Solskjaer to win us the Champions League and the Treble in 1999.... Nothing can ever top that season or match,.... Nothing... I love MUFC but I am realistic in saying we will have to be patient and wait and see what happens with the new manager and the club. Let's be patient and support our team and club and get behind them 100% with our full support... #glazersOUT
I'm 55, and I used to go home and away in the 80s and 90s. I don't go now, because I can't afford it. But I do watch Mark Goldbridge, and I don't care what other people think about that. I've got 3 that I'll watch - Webby & O'Neill The United Stand Stretford Paddock They're the only 3 that I watch. They all do things a bit different to each other, and I like that variety. People call out Goldbridge, but he's very knowledgeable about United. If he's not a United fan, then he must have swallowed our history book because he knows his stuff. That's all I'm saying. great to see mark n tony having a geniune chat about our beloved club our fanbase is divided some fans are already on our managers back get behined the manager it was his 1st game
exactly. there's bound to be some less than ideal results with the change of formation. the most important thing is how utd finish this season and take that momentum into the league next season. Jim ratcliffe & co should be judged next summer on how quickly they move on players that Amorim doesn't think he can trust.
I'm from Bolton but been a Liverpool fan since 1977. Losing the FA Cup Final to United and that deflected goal wasn't nice, but what really cemented me as a Liverpool fan was a few days after that, to watch them lift The European Cup in Rome. When I was old enough I started to go to the match and was a season ticket holder for a few years, going watching them home and away. I used to get stick about coming from Bolton but supporting Liverpool, but it was always from rival fans, never from Liverpool fans. The worst it got from Liverpool fans was to be called a woolyback, but that's just what they called everyone from Lancashire & Cheshire.

So refreshing to see a coming together rather than the back biting bullshit out there. I am glad you guys embraced Mark. I have been watching him since 2013 when I was the 40,000 subscriber all the way from Washington DC. Other channels were jealous of his success and tried to derail him with the rumors but personally I always felt his channel was the most authentic in openly criticizing United when it was appropriate. Other channels that cozied up to United no longer exists.
Yep, same with me. I'm a follower of the UTS already. Excellent interview with Goldbridge on this one, admired the upfront honesty of questions asked. I look forward to hearing more coverage on this channel.

I don't get why different youtube channels need to be tribal or exclusive. We're all United fans, we can be members of different fan communities and enjoy lots of different channels for the different content they put out.
Great interview, having someone of Tony’s standing within our fan base doing this will hopefully show that all the rumours, lies etc about Mark & The United Stand are just that. Born in 1953 in Sale and like my father a Utd fan ever since through the ups and downs, never miss an episode of your channel and todays was very balanced and interesting.

Mrs and me are regulars in Finland here. Mark I watch now and then. A lot of the other United channels started ok but then turned into smug bullshitters with no decent content. Once they get a few thousand subs, they think their turds don't stink. Good vid lads.

I like to consume a number of the different United channels so to see this sort of collaboration - and Mark having the chance to address the misconceptions that have been allowed to spread online - is really refreshing. They do, but we don't exactly help ourselves. We've become the ultimate banter club. Still the biggest club in the country, that causes jealousy, always will.
It's the constant featuring of utd despite them being mid table that rival fans point out...yes they may be bashing utd but there's no such thing as bad publicity and seeing utd get yet another 10 minutes of analysis whilst, for example, Ipswich getting 2 minutes

As a Brit living in America for 22 years we have struggled for true Manchester United content, I often come back from work and my wife says, I hate that Goldgridge voice when I put the United Stand on. I agree with Mark 70% of the time, which is a higher percentage than me listening to my wife. I thought your questions Tony were bang on and Mark's responses were authentic and from the heart. Well done and I am now a subscriber to you both.

Good interview ! I'm a Liverpool fan so have no 'dog in the fight' - but Mark has always been articulate, witty, funny, likeable and comes across as honest and upfront. Others (who do Man U fan content) - seem.bitter, jealous and are quite pathetic in their approach to making content.

My first experience was in losing 1-0 to Southampton in the FA Cup Final and worst experience coming back from 2-0 down, only for Alan Sunderland to destroy us 3-2 in another FA Cup Final defeat... but, my best feeling by far was coming back from a goal down with the ref looking at his watch only for Teddy and Ole Gunner Solskjaer to win us the Champions League and the Treble in 1999....
Nothing can ever top that season or match,.... Nothing...
I love MUFC but I am realistic in saying we will have to be patient and wait and see what happens with the new manager and the club.
Let's be patient and support our team and club and get behind them 100% with our full support...

exactly. there's bound to be some less than ideal results with the change of formation. the most important thing is how utd finish this season and take that momentum into the league next season. Jim ratcliffe & co should be judged next summer on how quickly they move on players that Amorim doesn't think he can trust.
I'm from Bolton but been a Liverpool fan since 1977. Losing the FA Cup Final to United and that deflected goal wasn't nice, but what really cemented me as a Liverpool fan was a few days after that, to watch them lift The European Cup in Rome. When I was old enough I started to go to the match and was a season ticket holder for a few years, going watching them home and away. I used to get stick about coming from Bolton but supporting Liverpool, but it was always from rival fans, never from Liverpool fans. The worst it got from Liverpool fans was to be called a woolyback, but that's just what they called everyone from Lancashire & Cheshire.

I am glad you guys embraced Mark. I have been watching him since 2013 when I was the 40,000 subscriber all the way from Washington DC. Other channels were jealous of his success and tried to derail him with the rumors but personally I always felt his channel was the most authentic in openly criticizing United when it was appropriate. Other channels that cozied up to United no longer exists.

I don't get why different youtube channels need to be tribal or exclusive. We're all United fans, we can be members of different fan communities and enjoy lots of different channels for the different content they put out.
Great interview, having someone of Tony’s standing within our fan base doing this will hopefully show that all the rumours, lies etc about Mark & The United Stand are just that. This channel & The United Stand are the most authentic United channels out there that represents the fan base as a whole, rather than the select few!

My Dad started supporting united after the crash cause he felt sorry for them, I was born in the 60's close to the Villa ground everyone and everything around me was Aston Villa but I'm a united fan.

Mrs and me are regulars in Finland here. Mark I watch now and then. A lot of the other United channels started ok but then turned into smug bullshitters with no decent content. Once they get a few thousand subs, they think their turds don't stink. Good vid lads.
I think you'd like united peoples tv, the production is the best on youtube and Sam is fantastic imo, Webby and O'neill are proper supporters too

Love this! Honestly haven’t really ever watched your channel but have seen the appearances on Paddock. You have a new subscriber now! I like to consume a number of the different United channels so to see this sort of collaboration - and Mark having the chance to address the misconceptions that have been allowed to spread online - is really refreshing. Maybe one day we can have the likes of Howson and McKola and Goldbridge together but maybe pigs will fly if that happens 😂

Most legacy football media are anti Man United. Sky Sports had a whole season of content bashing United.
They do, but we don't exactly help ourselves. We've become the ultimate banter club. Still the biggest club in the country, that causes jealousy, always will.

It's the constant featuring of utd despite them being mid table that rival fans point out...yes they may be bashing utd but there's no such thing as bad publicity and seeing utd get yet another 10 minutes of analysis whilst, for example, Ipswich getting 2 minutes

As a Brit living in America for 22 years we have struggled for true Manchester United content, I often come back from work and my wife says, I hate that Goldgridge voice when I put the United Stand on. I agree with Mark 70% of the time, which is a higher percentage than me listening to my wife. I thought your questions Tony were bang on and Mark's responses were authentic and from the heart. Well done and I am now a subscriber to you both.
There's enough space for different United channels to thrive, and we've got bigger enemies out there than each other. Nice to see a grown up exchange between fans, holding no punches

Good interview ! I'm a Liverpool fan so have no 'dog in the fight' - but Mark has always been articulate, witty, funny, likeable and comes across as honest and upfront. Others (who do Man U fan content) - seem.bitter, jealous and are quite pathetic in their approach to making content.

As regards being a United supporter from outside Manchester, in all of the 42 years of following United at home and as many aways as possible, it's never been an issue with any reds that I've recountered.
