Your very welcome 🙏, I put a video up a few days ago on the Beatdesigner that is in cubase 13 beside the StepDesinger, have a look at that one. The BeatDesigner is just as good 👍. Alan

Love that it has the random button, just like the 303 etc.

You can record midi inserts by dragging it over the white line, that will enable the recording. In older versions there is record enable button. Just learned that today.

All the MIDI stuff was really cool when it was introduced. Unfortunately nothing have happened here for many years. They really need an overhaul.

This has been in cubase for more than 10 years but I never use it
    It’s still really useful
But you can do it all in the editor,
So I can’t see the sense in loading up that plug-in
When the editor has a bigger screen
    Unless I’m missing something 🤔

Hi I thought this was a very interesting video on the Step Designer. However I am making a constructive criticism about 3/4 of the way through this video. I would have loved to hear the examples of what you were doing when you said the you could move up & down octaves and side ways. If you are going to demonstrate an interesting instrument you should not only tell what this instrument can do but, give an example of what it sounds like when you say what the instrument can do, so that a (listening musician) can hear what this Step Designer can do. Please when you demonstrate another instrument in the future please let us hear all of the various sounds that you are saying the instrument can do. New listeners need to hear all of the things you are talking about. If you can’t demonstrate the sounds that the Step Designer can do, then why even make this video. It is almost as if you should not have made this video at all. You should show and tell and have the observer hear everything this instrument can do. You almost defeated the purpose of making this video on this instrument. But, you did give a few examples of what the Step Designer can do. That is what made me watch 3/4 ‘s of the video. I will have to watch someone else demonstrate what else the step designer can do. Thank you for your introduction of the Step Designer. I would have enjoyed it more if you had done what I have already mentioned before. I do wish you continued success with all of your future videos and endeavors and I also wish you continued success financially as well. Please take my criticism as constructive criticism and grow from it. Have a wonderful day and week.

@@orrinbynum5978 thank you your feedback on my video, I fully understand what you are saying and I will take it on board. It's good to get constructive criticism feedback as this will help me make better videos in the future. I will go back and see what I can do to improve the step designer video taking your kind words on board. If there is any other Cubase thinks you would like to see or help with I would only be happy to help. Thank you again for you comments. 🙏 Alan

@@alandaviddaly Sir you caught my attention in the very beginning and you made me want more. Plus you let me know that I would have to watch another video from some one else demonstrating some of the things that you had mentioned in your first video on the Step designer. I was all eager to see and hear some of the other things you had mentioned but, when i didn’t see & hear the other things that you know about I was a little disappointed. You build up my excitement and when I didn’t hear some of the things you were introducing, it let me down. Although you did make me want to find out more about the Step Designer. I have Cubase 13 but, I have never use the Step Designer before. I am so glad that you took my constructive criticism well. I will continue to follow your videos in the future and thank you so much for responding to me in a positive way. I know now that you will become an even better demonstrator in the future. Thank you for peeking my interest in the Step Designer. You have a wonderful day and I really do wish you continued success with all of your future videos and please keep sharing your knowledge with us beginners. I am 69 years old now and I am working on my bucket list and I want to release some of my own music in the very near future and I am trying to learn everything I can about Cubase to make my music sound as professional as I can. All of you young people who are making these videos are really peeking my interest more and more about what Cubase can do for me and I appreciate you all for sharing your knowledge with us beginners. Have a wonderful day and week. I look forward to your next videos.

In such courses, having your image in the video takes away the entire watchability of the course. Persistently putting on that image when your image has no positive aspects is a waste of all that effort.

@empatikokumaler8202 ,What the hell are you going on about? 90% of the videos on this platform have the author in frame. If there was an image of a great pair of boobs or whatever your into showing instead would that have made it a better experience for you? I'm curious!
