Karen does need finance help, but I don't think it's just due to Pam putting charges on her card. If we listen to what Karen said, she's using Pam as the scapegoat because her credit card is maxed out. Pam charges did add to her maxing out, but it's not the only reason why she's at her limit. I stopped watching Sistas for the last three weeks or so. THE MAIN REASON is because they are MESSING UP ZAC and FATIMA. In terms of everyone else, I am starting to not care about the other characters. Pam needs to get a written agreement with Karen. The problem is, Karen is going to think she should get more than she deserves.
I don’t think Pam owes Karen any money. Moving forward they can have a discussion concerning Pam’s products and how much Karen is entitled to. Or Pam can get her own spot and leave
All of us knew Pam didn't have any money. She was using that salon's card to purchase products to make what she was selling and for all those packages being shipped to her. She was storing her products for free and selling out of Karen's business. So why would you say she doesn't owe Karen any money? Do you think she paying off that card? No, Karen started using her personal card to cover the business card. Those costs became Karen's expenses. Remember Pam's boyfriend was using Karen's credit card and she went to the police few seasons ago
Pam has been there for Karen. Karen really holds her close or feels like she might be the last sincere person other than her mother. I think that's why she does not say anything.
While you are right about the lack of an agreement, Pam should at the very least replace the money used from the salon's account because that money was meant for the SALON not just Pam's own product.
Nor did she give her permission to use her credit card for personal reasons which caused her liability insurance to lapse. And we all know Karen’s about to get sued most likely before that insurance gets reinstated.
This is where Karen is a bad business woman. I don't think she's entitled to a cut of her profits, but she definitely should have been charging her for storage. Either $100 or 15% of her sales to cover storage. Based on what was shown, Pam only ordered one shipment of products that Karen returned. The next episode it was stated Pam used her own line of credit to replace those products.
I’m torn between whether Karen should get a cut from Pam’s prosperous business venture or not. Although Pam used the salon credit card which was wrong it would seem that Pam should only repay Karen for what she used. It seems as though with all of the hype about Roots to Riches Pam has brought in new customers to the salon for Karen’s business so should Pam ask for a cut from the new clients her products are bringing to the salon for Karen’s business?? And if that’s the case when Karen loss her clients to Karen’s disgruntled employee taking Karen’s clients and Pam brought them back should Pam look for a cut from Karen for her bringing Karen’s clients back??. It would seem like one hand washes the other in business dealings such as this with no agreements drawn out between the two. And Pam’s been in business long enough for Karen to have had something drawn up between her and Pam. After all Karen knew about Andi helping Pam out to find a business lawyer so Karen could have asked Andi to drawn up the paperwork then for Karen and Pam.. Karen is a terrible business person and it would serve her right for losing anything Pam is bringing in because Karen wasn’t looking out for herself or her own business.
