To have Alonso for only two months, that's a bad trade.
Truly an awful trade. Alonso is a solid player, but someone with postseason experience like JD would be much safer.

Pablo Lopez never gets any blowback for being a below average pitcher this year. Declan sleeps in his Pablo T-shirt each night. The Twins don’t have a Frank Viola or Jack Morris to be the ace. Joe Ryan will have to step up or they will be in trouble in the playoffs. Right now Ryan is 1, Ober 2, Woods Richardson 3, Lopez 4 and Paddack a shaky 5.

Correa will fizz out as it took him three years to start hitting like his money is paid out. Royce Lewis has spunk and if he can stay healthy he could write baseball history. Mr Buxton just isn’t healthy, I feel for his results.

they're not doing squat - they proved that in the moves they made leading up to the season. I don't think we'll track to 90 wins, unless during the 2nd half, more than our games are against teams below .500. We are a .500 team - the pitching is light, and in need of relief arms. What's the path to anything other than a .500 finish, or a little above, and a first round exit. Love the segment, though.
@@Travis_lee what's your plan, the Twins wasted prospects on the farmer and mahle trade, how do you propose getting a pitching ace that doesn't deplete the twins farm system any further and doesn't cause a sell off next off season as the projected payroll after this season is 140 million before any signings?
@@dw2367 why I said trade at the deadline for next season, move Kepler, eat Vasquez's contract to trade him and kirilloff, possibly larnach. We have prospects coming up next year and it cuts salary to go after pitching.
I really feel bad that you live with such negativity. I hope you some day see the light. And learn some ball while you are at it.
