joseph971 at least it was successful
But Reggie's face never changes
100th like
The DS line of consoles is one of the best things Nintendo have ever made in my opinion. Then again they have made a load of cool stuff.
Gameboy
These cheering sound never heard nowadays.
Negnav123 That's because E3 is no longer open to anyone and is instead invite-only for journalists.
Ryan Brown I seriously hate that, I was just about to order tickets to take a flight to California to see the convention, only to find out registration for E3 is exclusive for "representatives of the gaming community"
Watch the Uncharted 4 reveal, the people cheered simply because they saw the Naughty Dog logo.
Internet killed E3.
Warrior Man How?
"an instant lie berry of over 500 titles."

Man if Reggie was a salesman I would even buy a bag of shit from him. Yup, he is that good.
Unless it was a Wii U xD
Did you even TRY playing on the Wii U? It's awesome! The true next gen, for me anyways.
ComputerD10 wiiy was the biggest waste of money becides looking a cam corder a few years back. utter shit.

I know your pains. Trust me broheim.
DGTelevsionNetwork well 2017 e3 changed it again

It's crazy seeing this now and remembering when I was a teenager seeing this, how much has changed back then to now. Just under a few years to.
Your common grammar doesn't seem to be one of the things that changed. Too*

Wii u gamepad is original.
Mikee Flores I wish they implemented it more.
Mikee Flores I never said it wasn't, I said I can't believe there isn't already Metroid for Wii U.
a metroid for the wii u is sort of like a less popularized half life 3.
We really have no information about it.
Thats because now 3/4 of the crowds are press/workers from their own company.
Woah ... DS = Double Screen!
It's actually Dual Screen, but oh well. :P
its like a double rainbow. you know what I mean? of course you do.
its a muthafukin' DOUBLE RAINBOW!
Why did it take me YEARS to find this out?
A Lego Man you*
I never knew this.. I want to die..
Nintendo need to get back to these types of announcements-straight up SLAYING all the competition!

Even back then Reggie is still a total badass.
watching these old recordings show how bad-ass reggie has always been, he really knows how to work the crowd and sound confident in the product
If this was filmed in 2004 why does it give an 80s feel?
His outfit
Poor video quality.
+Jun Kurosu Relevant Nintendo.

Jun Kurosu Because Reggie never ages.

Wrong it was 12 years ago. Do you even math bro?
Oh my... you feel old now at 14 years?. I don't forget how bad I was craving an NDS so damn much, and I was 12 years old back then. Truly a nostalgia shot.
You are extrem young. 14 years are NOTHING.
Max 123 Yeah yeah shut up. No need to be so edgy about that.
Nintendo revolutionised the touch screen before apple
We don't realize how amazing these things were back then
"It prints money!"
Hi, I'm from 2035, I came here to say that the 3ds has gone so freaking far.
Oh, and Reggie never changed from 2004. He still looks the same in 2035.
uncooked chicken yeah, about reggie....
Proteus XV this hurts to look at
The 3DS doesn’t exist anymore wdym? All we have are switches here
Dang this aged so poorly it's hilarious

I still have my old NDS, and it still works. Think about it, the NDS and the Wii defined what Nintendo is today. The Switch is what you get if you combine the DS and the Wii together.
Joshua0531 The NDS isn't old.
I understand why people are saying “Back then people seemed more enthusiastic” you people need to understand we are in an era where the gaming industry has achieved the best it can achieve. That 3D model shown at 0:46 seems to be an early prototype. (Note the swapped start/select and power buttons for one example)
This was the iPhone of handhelds
JELLY3EANS You don't what being the '*blank* of *blank*' means. Are you dumb?

Marketing has changed dramatically over the past 13 years. Of course Nintendo has consistently tried to market how much fun it is to play on their consoles over the years rather than focusing on specs.
This has me more hyped for this years E3. Ah, the memories.
So 8 years pass and this video finally appears in my recommended.
Boy, I sure can't wait for the DS to launch!
the 3ds is the BEST CONSOLE EVER!

I remember my original DS. One of my largest regrets I've ever had was selling it for £10 so I could buy a magazine :(
I can't forgive my 10 year old self.
this is when video games weren't just first person shooters
Except for the metroid game he just showed off
meh I mean like call of duty and halo and stuff like that not metroid
TheDemonSgt metroid is first person adventure bro
yeah true but atleast Metroid isn't call of duty with all of these people yelling staying you suck
coolertuep Not always. Before it disappeared off the face of Nintendo, it was a 2D platformer. Then it became an ok first person game. Then it died. Rest in Platforming
The reaction to touching the screen to fire tho 😂
Nintendo DS was such a fantastic console.... I didn't even have a Wifi connection when it came out
"You can only FEEL this... on Nintendo."
That slogan better be in storage for a future system!
Wow, this was a big deal back in the day.
Miss these days. Video game and console announcements where only two things were most important: fun and being intuitive
Ahh 2004, back when Wi-Fi compatibility was an innovation
0:09 you can hear people laughing at it
i wish they wouldve kept backward compatibility lol

All controller supported. Perfect device, might need to get an iPad for the bigger display. Android is not as good at emulating, but is okay.
And it only took a decade.
Bro android is AMAZING at emulating. I get an average of *120* fps on n64oid on my Nexus 5. Plus I can use an xbox one controller with it.
When you realize, growing up with this, that this technology was actually insane!
"wifi it's beyond online it's noline" wtf does that mean?
GamingTaylor I’m guessing that means it’s wireless play
Line is Internet via dial up or LAN
GamingTaylor in 2005 you needed a cable to connect to the internet via lan
WiFi was basically new then, so it would've been impressive that you didn't need an Ethernet cable on a handheld console
Dont question the Regginator.
the ds had great games and i'm glad i can still play them on my 3ds
AMAZING DAY IN HISTORY OF GAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND THEY WANTED TO CALL WII "THE REVOLUTION"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shh, calm the fuck down.
The Revolution was it's code name. Just like the code name for Game cube was dolphin
Revolution was a hell of a lot cooler sounding than Wii
MY DAD BOUGHT ME THIS CONSOLE WHEN IT JUST CAME OUT THAT SAME YEAR :D Man those REALLY were the good ol' days..
God damn, was this really 10 years ago already?
When you consider that mainstream smartphones (iphone etc) were still three years away..... only Laptops really needed Wifi at the time but still most laptop users in 2004 would plug into an Ethernet cable, so for this Nintendo DS to come out with Wifi in 2004 was pretty damn cool.
Time is changing , Smart Phone is dominating
I legitimately swatted at my laptop, because of you profile picture.

it's not a gaming sytem it is more like comunication.plaus most games are crap
At 1:42 Reggie seriously says library as "lie-berry"..that's 5th grader shit :D
