I think this is great. I'm not into puzzles, but the creativity and passion that went into building these is just awesome. It's refreshing to see so many people get genuinely excited and appreciative of a their hobby without all this contentious and malicious hostility towards one another.

Dan, You should ask traiphum if you can buy one of his 3x3x10 cubes. Its actually really big. Its not like those 3x3x9 cubes with the 9 really small layers, its actually a pillow-like tower. Im not sure how much it costs, but it looks really awesome.

Dear Dan, I know you might not reAd this but I just got a 3x3x5 mass produced cuboid and it took almost three weeks from hknowstore and when I finally got it the white center cap wasn't screwed in. Does that happen often?

My 1st puzzle ever was the megaminx and was tile...I loved that thing, then one day a family member stole it and sold it. I never got another. Now there's so many cool other ones. How much do these things cost?
And what I mean by the morphing puzzles is say u only half turn one side and then with any side( not opposite though) turn it a.k.a the triumphan 6x6x8 or whatever it is

I believe Shapeway changes the way they priced their puzzles, making them cost much more. CBC has made a video about it, but I can't remember what it's called.

is anyone else having problems with hknowstore? the website is extremely slow and doesnt open half of the time. this has never happened to me before
hey dan, you say that they are barrel puzzles, but aren't they cylinders instead. I always thought, that on a barrel puzzle the round sides had to be slightly pillowed.

Not all barrels are rounded. Look at an oil barrel.

I am from India, we don't have many stores here selling such puzzles.
We have a few of them which sell regular cubes and some shape mods, but certainly not the one in this.

Hi you cubers out there ! Can anyone of you tell me, why my dayan zhanchi locks up a lot and is not smooth anymore, after I tensioned it ? I tried a loose tension, medium tension and the tension from the beginning, when i got my zhanchi, but the lock up issues doesnt want to go away D:
Take it apart, put all the pieces in a bowl and rinse them all off with water (NOT THE CORE). After that, clean all the water out of the pieces, then lube it. At the end tension it to your liking :)
Ok, Rhys Campbell: I've got one for ya: I just got a blue ice, non-stickered Gem 3. The star faces turn fine. BUT the 4 cubie sides turn barely and all of them are catching Everytime on something. Tried different lubes, but not even slight changes. Help. Mahalo.
