This is so true. When you're in charge, everything is your fault, even/especially when it isn't.

A Bug's Life should be shown in history classes, it pretty accurately depicts a politics, tyranny, and rebellion in a way idiots can understand. Plus the German caterpillar is like the coolest guy ever!

this is true. when you're the leader, people dissect every subtle aspect of you, and normally point at you to blame for every problem

Yup. Sadly, so few presidents and politicians follow this. Whenever something good happens, they take full responsibility. When something bad happens, it's always gotta be somebody else's fault.

Social media has made that dialogue more relevant than ever the way the US President always gets blamed for 100 percent of the country's problems.

Well it's true. If it was up to you, eveything you do would be done right. IF it were up to you, nothing would stand in your way. Thus, logicly it must be something or somebody elsed fault.

goes beyond politics or marriage. it is about power and perception. I want to be powerful, and seen as powerful. this (theoretically) insulates me against attack. your perception of my power is more important then me being right or correct or fair. a mature leader will take the hit if he or she is wrong. most of us pass the buck and play the blame game.

Yes, when you are the leader, if the world goes bad, its your fault, you are the leader.
Of course if the world goes ok, thats true again.

@ theBigA1992 Well if u watch the movie Hopper says tht if the ants serve the grasshoppers then he and the gang will keep bigger bugs, birds, snakes etc. away from the colony, but of corse its a lie. Hopper wouldnt lift a finger 2 help those ants. So he pretty much lied 2 them.

Just change 'leadership' to 'marriage' and you've got a winning line.
