    You can see that the E-sports guys are so fast that they put the car on 778th fastest lap on default setup

    Using ABS is like having a lifetime of karting and F1 training like the real guys, except without needing to spend a lifetime learning to brake just right on a fake wheel and pedals.
    Since I am not a millionaire brat baby, and have no hope of making millions doing this game, and have to work for a living…. I think I’ll just use ABS and DRIVE like a real F1 driver, even if I’m not breaking like one 100% accurately.

    You did a 1:28.2 with default set up and ABS on!!!! OMG, I quit. That was incredible.

    Funny you call it cheating. Yes f1 cars don't have abs but alot of race cars do. How many cars can you race in real life from outside the cockpit?? Do you think f1esports will change to cockpit only at some stage? Also how often would you change brake bias through out a lap during a race or a qualifying lap at a track like Bahrain?

    Back in F1 22, I used to play on a G923. The brake pedal was quite heavy, which made it easier to do trail braking, but after that wheel stopped working, I switched to a Thrustmaster T300RS GT, and immediately noticed that using no ABS basically became impossible because of the different pedals. The prop you get with it only applies weight to the braking when the pedals actually reaches it, so it makes trail braking really hard to do. At somepoint, I decided to just turn on ABS so I would stop locking up all the time.
    If had a brake pedal with load cell, I'd probably turn off ABS to give myself a bit more of a challenge.

      I never turned it off and i had the same issues. I switched to fanatec DD and v3s. It took me fucking one year to be as fast as i was with my g29 and controller..but never turned it on.

      I have the same problem
      With the t300 the pedal is way to stiff you don’t have that much feel to trail brake

      just get a heavier spring so you can have a heavier brake without those drawbacks

      I have the thrust master t248 and the brake pedal is really good I use the heaviest spring.

    Im using a G29, definitely getting myself a fanatec dd pro or something for Christmas. The g29 is still great for the price...and yeah I agree with the realism thing, I do full length seasons and races, I feel like a real driver now! I'm pretty good at GT7 and I never played with assists (except ABS but that's what the pros use anyway), this game is on another level, from the parts and team management to the driving its totally awesome!

    I’ve driven nearly every F1 game since F1 2018 without ABS and I actually like the more realistic and difficult behavior of the cars in this years game.
    But with decreasing tyre performance I’m having more and more rear lock ups and destroying my tyres with this.
    That’s why i turned on ABS for my online two player career in the races just for more consistency.

    You've got me off everything now, no traction, no abs, no lines nothing. I still keep suggested gear on but tbh I don't have time to even look down I even change gears by sound now. Thanks for all your videos mate.

    You should probably try to stand on the break, because i don't think you often activated the ABS. But if its faster, they should work on it, because i don't think this is fair.

    • @alexribeiro7724
      @alexribeiro7724 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah like assists is there to help newer drivers but not be the fastest. I've heard by Suelio that in Iracing you need to use ABS on some cars because it's better and for others reasons, but on every Formula car i think it should be slower

    • @noduj
      @noduj ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alexribeiro7724 You still don't want to break into ABS with a GT car, because your break distance will be longer, its mainly there to save tires and for consistency. iracing has the best breaking in my opinion.

    • @alexribeiro7724
      @alexribeiro7724 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@noduj I never played on Iracing but i think it's cool, seems like a very good simulator. I wish a have a PC and at least steering wheel to do it cause playing on joystick is very painfull😄😄

      @@alexribeiro7724 If you can get your hands on a PC, i can recommend you Assetto Corsa, still my favorite sim to this day, its cheap and if you run it with mods it looks the best, iracing sadly is expensive.

    the main reason on why I prefer no ABS more than ABS (and why I made the switch in this year's game) is because you have a lot more control over the car's rotation and you can also get a better feel for the car and how it exactly handles

    • @Khetomi1
      @Khetomi1 ปีที่แล้ว

      ABS off is especially good in monaco, the fastest way to take the hairpin in quali/TT is actually to lock the rears on purpose so you kind of drift around it
