What? He made a promise, an actual deal with her, and swift the blame but attacking her unnecessary and very personal like talking about failed relationships she told him about. Like she said “I can’t believe you are so easy on yourself”. He manipulated the situation, Hollywood always sharing the vision that a bad guy with no values can be a likable guy, redeemed and turn out to be the love of your life. In real life, even if they ended up together he would probably sleep with the nanny.
@@ritaamor283 As I've said, he IS the one who made a mistake here. What I'm also saying is that Lucy has an uncompromising nature that's often detrimental to relationships. She needed to be told that, regardless of his motive for saying it and whether they get together or not.

I feel sorry for her that she was upset to see him with June, but couldn't bring herself to tell him directly. I know what that feels like in real life. June did kind of throw herself at George - he wasn't really interested in her.
