Thanks to Barry in the early 2000’s all species of fish in the cove area migrated to safest waters from aerial bombardment.
Thank steriods you mean
Tylet Harris wdym he just had a balanced breakfast
🤣🤣🤣
@@tyletharris21 Obviously Bonds had a very *juiced* diet and very *enhancing* exercises to be so jacked.
Lame
how the hell did felipe crespo, who hit 10 career homeruns, have 2 into mccovey cove?
Raw power. XD
sipped some of barry's sauce a couple of times
i was like how the hell have i never heard of this guy then i looked him up and realized why
Crespo was always a lil G
@@herts9999 Brought The Juice To The Ball Game
Still remember it being stuck at 68 for way too long
@Brandon Horne respect
Jasper Mak 69 likes now very nice
Not nice
It was at 68 for 2 years and then 69 for only 5 days lmao.
Who cares, he’s a cheater.
I lived a lot of this at the park. Most exciting baseball I've ever seen is the Giants 2000-2003 and 2010-2014. Never seen anything like it. The feeling at that park is a unique high I've never felt at any other MLB park.
Wasn't exclusive to the park either.
I was in high school in SF during two of the three world series and I'll never forget it. The phrase "the city is abuzz" is corny and overdone but during those postseasons it couldn't have been more apt. It's indescribable but when it happens you can just feel it walking around the city, like everything is more exciting and everyones in a better mood, even people who don't give a shit are happier. It's the best
Growing up near Detroit, I remember losing games 1 and 2 in Detroit in 2012. The atmosphere was so notorious then that I knew there was no way we were coming back from candlestick after that
I worked at the ballpark for Barry’s last two seasons. So many awesome memories.
This video should have been titled, “Bonds… he hits it high! He hits it deep!!!”
IT, IS, OUTTA HERE!!!!!
If you're asking in which park do home runs look coolest, the answer is most definitely Oracle Park. The fact that Barry spent his glory days here was just perfect.
@@lawrencewu2000 You gotta admit even without juice he was still a generational talent. Also lots of pitchers he faced were roided up as well.
@@apollo4619this is something most people dont wanna face. More pitchers were cheating through roids or even sticky stuff. Bonds was still great with mechanics.
20 years later we can confirm he did indeed have onions on the hotdog.
Lmao just passed that
And roids in his needle
@@tyletharris21 nope, it was the cream
@@tyletharris21 we know common knowledge
@@tyletharris21 you put WHAT in your needle?😳
Bonds and Griffey Jr.made batting lefty look so fly/swagged out
Anyone else think that it's crazy that Andres Torres had two of these
Or that Randy Winn had one!
SanFranFan30 loved that dude and his batmobile
Debate Span more than once surprised me too
Denard* lol
4:59 -- Could never ask for a more beautiful home run swing than that.
I watch this and think about me growing up, watching Barry reek havoc on the league, one of the BEST hitters to ever do it and I just cant believe he is not in the hall of fame. I dont give a damn how doped up or arrogant he was, he was allot of peoples hero and even if he was juiced he had way more talent than 90 percent of professional ball players. He was a product of his environment and shouldn't be shunned. I miss the good old days...Greetings from Portland OR, lets start the petition to get him in
This is literally a Barry bonds compilation 😂
@@lawrencewu2000 you really are a buzz kill huh?
@@lawrencewu2000Bonds didn't need them to hit far but he still used them
You mean Brandon belt
Bonds - 35
Belt - 10
Sandoval - 8
Span - 7
Wow Bonds had alot of splash hits😓
I mean, he's Barry Bonds
@@timeonstuff exactly
Roids
Geoffrey Behrens DENARD Span 7!?
Steroids do that

When I’m on a first date and things are going well.
Excellent
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Aaron Scarpa hahaha
NOOOOO😂😂😂😂 this comment made my day😂😂
That’s hilarious
Should have just been Barry Bond pull-side HRs with a few randos sprinkled in
That’s pretty much what it was
@@tigobidyjr8901 you think I don't know that??
Might as well have highlights of juiced up softball sluggers mixed in with Balco Bonds.
What a cheater.
@@tyletharris21 They were all on doing them. There's a reason it's called the Steroid ERA. But Bonds was better than all of them. He's a HoFer. Deal with it.
Man that never gets old. I love this park and el Gigantes
Thanks for sharing this, I just found this video, I remember my dad (who has passed) and I used to watch these all the time on the TV. We're Korean and Giants fans so it was sad/happy watching Bonds hit his 71 and 72 off Chan Ho Park XD
😂😂😂
Should be renamed “Bonds Cove”
Ian Coit why would they name it after a cheater
@@iangold2987 Good one Ian
no juice no diggers
Call it "Bond's Needle"
Bonds bay
Let's Go Giants! I like to think I watched all of Bonds McCovey Cove HR.
You just did...
Naw they are missing one where he hit it pass the buoy in right center... I don't think I saw that one...
kuipers calls never get old
imagine living in the bonds era
it was amazing everytime
Whether you loved him or hated him. It didn’t matter because you were always there to see him!
I worked at the ballpark during this era. I saw most of these live. It was glorious!
There’s always that one hater who has to bring up steroids just appreciate greatness because you probably have never even hit a home run in a beer league
As a giants fan it’s so cool that they have this in the ballpark
As a dodger fan the only good thing about the giants is their stadium
@@Boomer-vx4gj well um if you didn’t look at the standings, the giants are 1st in NL West and the dodgers are 3rd
@@Boomer-vx4gj as a giants fan there's literally nothing good about dodger stadium and the franchise 😂
@@blitzkrieg634 so true their stadium is so basic there’s like nothing to it
I may live in Texas but San Fran born. LETS GO GIANTS!!!
First unofficial Splash Hit was Jorge Posada in an exhibition game vs. the Yankees on April 1, 2000. Bonds hit one that night as well that landed on the walkway behind the wall and bounced into the water.
I think it was the Dodgers Todd Hundley in 2000.
But the giants don’t want to acknowledge that it was a Dodgers first.
if you count exhibition, then it's still bonds in 1999. there was a ceremonial pre-opening of the brand new Pac Bell Park. bonds was testing out if he can clear out the right field wall and boy did he launched those into the water.
Before Crespo’s first I had forgotten it was all splash hits and was thinking it was just Barry Bonds highlights
4:11 that angle was awesome
2:34 is also so cool
i love how when he hits a bomb like that he just drops the bat and watches it
We need more splash hits this season
Still remember when they would walk Bonds because they were scared of him. That was my childhood.
My question is how many opponents have put one in. They only count Giants HR's.
Johnny G 36 opponents have hit it into McCovey Cove... Max Muncy, Luis Gonzalez, Cliff Floyd, and Curtis Granderson were the only visiting players to do it multiple times
Bryce harper and Carlos Delgado do it in multiple times
Thanks guys for the update. I bet Pete Alonso will be the first righty to do it.
Johnny G that’s nearly impossible for a righty
@@CYROMERO2 true but Alonso has excellent power to all fields. He's I think the only righty who could just get it in there.
12:21 That was my first MLB game at another ballpark besides Petco Im glad to say I witnessed a splash hit and a triple that day. And Oracle park is nice
Petco is also nice
Oracle is my second favorite it’s super nice
You better have tried some garlic fries or Ghirardelli or u gotta go back
p.herm10 I tried the garlic fries they are fire
Barry Bonds: *hits a baseball into McCovey Cove*
A random fish in that area: *WHO THE HELL HIT ME?!*
I worked at the ballpark for Barry’s final two seasons. It was magical, I saw so many world records set.
Splash Hit #25, I was there. Can't wait to do a video about it.
I noticed quite a few of those Splash Hits happened the day before I went to their next game.
I think I can speak for just MLB fans when I say this is probably the best spot to watch HRs land.
It looks like some of Bonds' HR's were between 450 - 500 ft. It's amusing so many fans out there in the Cove jumped into that chilly water to retrieve a "Splash Hit." That water is cold!
HE HITS IT HIGH HE HITS IT DEEP IT IS OUTA HERE. such a great and memorable phrase sounds better when h says it
Don’t know why this was in my suggested, but I still liked it...
Not sure if you are trolling or you're just really dumb.

lol that all I heard the whole video legend
annoying af
I love how there were so many people in the water waiting to be the one to catch his 69th hr ball.
I feel like I just watched a Barry Bonds' highlight reel!!
I was in attendance for #4!!!! Off the bat u could tell that thing was headed for San Jose!!!!! 🐐
My favorite part is all the kayakers scrambling for the ball and half of them falling in.
81 Giants Homers and 18 Opponent Homers as of 5/29/23
3:22 “Oh boy… oh my… did he do it again? Oh yes he did! Hasta la vista, baby” 😂😂😂
Awesome, thanks SF Giants!
Dingers!! Big fan, GO GIANTS
Giants have one of the best stadiums in baseball and the Bay is the perfect backdrop!
Thank you for this Barry Bond highlight real
The video we didn't know we needed.
I don't need the music playing all over all this
最初ボンズのホームラン集かと思ったけど途中に他の選手が出てきてスプラッシュヒット集だと気づいた。
やっぱボンズってモンスターだな。
Watching the Splash Hit counter roll up a new number > A digital number change.
Pretty cool to see pablo hit one 9 years later
I was there for splash hit #50 (my first Giants game), my brother was there for #51 (his first Giants game ), and then we were both there together for #52
🐼
I could listen to Kuip commentate all day long.
@Lighthouse in the Storm because he's badass
1:35 was a MONSTER BLAST!!! I was standing on the trolly with my wife when he hit that bomb!!! I aslo remember when he hit 2 foul balls of Eric Gagnes 103mph fastball right over our heads and you can hear the ball cutting the air must have been traveling 120mph it was insane he ended up hitting a walk off triple off the wall. Ill never forget that also was there and witnessed all his records he broke. BARRY BONDS GOAT...
I love you San Francisco.. I LOVE you barry & sandobal
Splash hit #4 was a bomb!
Someone tell me why I got emotional the first time Lon Simmons’ voice showed up in this video.
Love the pitcher and the catchers reaction! 🤣
I like the part where Barry bonds hits the ball in McCovey cove
Barry Bonds: I am all natural
Also Barry Bonds: Hits the most single player McCovey Cove homers
All natural my ass until he was 30 look like a fucking toothpick until he start taking steroids look at the pictures people
@@stevejohnson1397 ratio
Man after 100 those 2000-2005 HRs hit different
The amount of ball vision Barry bonds had is insane he Forsure should be in the hall of fame
"It is outta here."
No matter how many times the Giants made the ball land on the bay. There were 50 balls landing on the bay in one decade and 31 on the other.
Congrats to Mike Yastrzemski for joining the list!!

If all of the clips were basically just Barry Bonds hitting absolute BOMBS 💣, I would have watched a video of Barry Bonds highlights
Yes. Yes you would have
This really is just a Barry Bonds highlight video at the beginning 😂
What a F**king POWER and bat speed!!
This just felt like a Barry Bonds highlight reel😂
Alternative title was “watch Barry Bonds hit a ball really far”
The quality of screen is so highhhhhh!
Idk what's more impressive: the homeruns or the dudes on the boats getting the baseballs
Hall of fame! That’s it’s! The greatest of all time!
Bonds! Hits it high! Hits it deep! IT IS OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!111
4:12 the ball looks sick af coming off the bat at this angle mlb should use it more
その通りだと思う。
Exactly!
Crazy how the giants are in all of these
TuzzinX Lmaoo
Well let’s hope we see some *BEAUTIFUL* splash hits this year!!!
I will count all of em!!!
*2020 Season*

This is going to be a long wait. I say Yaz has 3, and the Brandons each have 1 all year.
CMMDieguez81 yeah it will be!
Yaz will probably get 3 Pence 1 Crawford 1
AlaskaAirlines 17 Pence??
Hunter Pence, he came back and will be playing this year
AlaskaAirlines 17 yeah ik. But there’s never been a righty to go deep into the cove and u think he will this year? I love him but I don’t see a splash hit coming. Maybe an oppo taco onto the arcade, but not a splash hit. Love having him back also
Beautiful backdrop
100 !!!!!!
Put Bonds in the hall of fame already, he was hitting balls from pitchers that were juiced too
19 players there have hit one into McCovey Cove
#25 at 4:17 has by far the best angle.
Most beautiful ballpark in the world
25 was beautiful
The distances on these are crazy
Love to get the Barry Bonds splash homer from 9/18 for my birthday =)
Dude number 4 was an absolute moon shot!!
IT NOT ONLY GOES INTO THE WATER BUT THE BALL GOES ABOUT 70 YARDS MORE FROM THE EDGE WATER CRAZY POWER
This is the 2nd most impressive splash-down homer in the majors. The toughest splash down is in Pittsburgh. In the Allegheny River on the fly. Has only been done 5 times in 21 years.
10:56 - NICE
No one barrels it up like Bonds did. Such a beautiful sound!😍

I wonder how many in total if you count the visiting teams
