To be fair, TVS was good, but not as good as the Railway series. Anyone who has read Wilberts books will know the attention to detail and character he put in. TVS is good at this too, but the decline definitely came with the HIT era. Who made Thomas a show purely for babies? You can thank HIT for that one. You may have your own opinion, and I support that. The HIT era was still pretty good. But it can't be compared to the classic series and especially not the books.
The miler and bwba era we're the biggest downfalls of the cgi series. Season 16 probably would have been a bit better if Darek was in the episode he was supposed to be in. But ultimately wasn't in his episode because in the script he'd go by his name "Paxman" and got mistaken for Paxton
