    INFO:
    "The King’s Life Guard
The King’s Life Guard is conducted by soldiers of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment at Horse Guards. Horse Guards is named after the troops who have mounted The King’s Life Guard here since the Restoration of King Charles II in 1660.
The ceremony has remained mostly unchanged for over 350 years.
Changing of The King's Life Guard
The ceremony of changing of the King’s Life Guard starts at 11am with the Old Guard formed up on Horse Guards Parade. As the New Guard arrives, a trumpeter sounds a royal salute and the officer salutes. The New Guard forms up facing the old one.
Once both lines are still, the corporal major, senior non-commissioned officer and sentries of the New Guard (the first relief) rein back their horses and leave for the guard room to take over their duties, which lasts for 48 hours. The sentries from the Old Guard return to the parade ground and the entire Old Guard returns back to barracks.
When the monarch is in London, there is a ‘long guard’ consisting of an officer, corporal major (who carries the regimental standard), two non commissioned officers, a trumpeter and 10 troopers. When the monarch is away, the guard is reduced to two non-commissioned officers and 10 troopers known as a ‘short guard’.
Whatever the season or weather, members of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment ride down from Hyde Park Barracks in Knightsbridge to take over guard duties.
    TIMINGS OF DUTIES
The Guard Change currently takes place on: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11am.
The two iconic soldiers on horses that mount duty on Whitehall at the entrance of Horse Guards change on the hour every hour from 10am until 4pm.
This ensures that, regardless of the time you choose to visit the museum, you are guaranteed a captivating spectacle of ceremonial duties in progress.
The King’s Life Guard is the name given to the guard duty performed by The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment at Horse Guards. It dates from 1660 when The Life Guards mounted a permanent guard at the entrance to Whitehall Palace.
Responsibility for mounting the guard alternates between
    The Life Guards and
    The Blues and Royals.
An inspection at Hyde Park Barracks decides which ‘relief’ a soldier will do: the smartest will carry out his duty on his horse and the least well turned out will do longer duties on foot. The guard then rides to Horse Guards via Hyde Park Corner, Constitution Hill and The Mall."

Where are the armed police? Should they not be walking around keeping an eye on the Guards. Instead of standing around just talking, while the Guards get bullied from the tourist. Something has to be done about this, these Kings Guards are real soldiers why can’t they understand that? They are doing there job and having to put up with tourist, bulling them and also confusing the horses, if they just claim they did not understand not touching the reins then they deserve to get bit from the horse. This is terrible how the Kings Guard are being treated.

Cameras all over monitoring/watching the visitors as well. Even in the boxes. They just need to prohibit touching and standing right next to horses..period. What visitors look like from our view...🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂

The situation seems to just deteriorate more and more over time. Maybe closing the whole thing to tourists for a month or two during which time the big head honchos could do some strategic planning as to how to handle these rude crowds and the stress they cause to the horses. No more touching the horses? No more getting within 5 feet of the mounted soldiers? At some point,, the income generated by these visitors should be less important than the welfare of the horses and the soldiers.

I think the time has come to stop tourists from being too near the guards and keep them out of the courtyard too. This is in light of what happened to that soldier the other day, you never know when the next strike will be. I really worry for those troopers 😢

I agree wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, how the world works. It waits for an horrific event to occur. To put in precautions and make changes. When it should be the other way around. I don't know why those barracks. Had no set limited access. No access to civilians, bikes and cars. Especially, where the troopers exist. I feel Horse Guards possess the same danger. There's no limited perimeters ser. The front and back. Too open to the tourists. Tourists are allowed to crowd around The King's Guards and Guard Horses. It only takes one unbalanced person. To create chaos. I pray for that solider and his family.❤️💂‍♀️🇬🇧🙏

Glad you captured the very rude and disrespectful boy and his dad. Just goes to show apples don't fall to far from the tree. They really need to put a stop to the tourist getting around the Guards and Horses tourist are getting more and more disrespectful and aggressive. I have watched several viedos and they show how tourist just dare the Horses to bite them and to try the Guards to yell at them or boot them. They love aggravating the horse and Guards . Those over Horse Guards need to get control of this situation before someone really gets hurt. Like a child or a Guard even one of the Police Officers. I have seen anger in face of some tourist because the officers tell them to get back. It's all so crazy there anyway with all the dumb protests. One Soldier getting attacked. God protect the Guards , Horses Children and innocent Tourist 😢

The ignorance and disrespect is utterly astounding there! What makes people think it's okay to squeeze into the box with a horse and a trooper? / 21:22 - Seriously?! Move along! You got your picture earlier, and then came back for a second one, where you poked the horse in the eye at 18:36! Not only that, but she keeps cutting in front of others to get another photo! Just move along! You're nowhere near as important as you think you are. / 30:21 - Totally saw this coming, as the horse seemed to be getting more and more stressed as tons of people were allowed to press in on him, groping him all over! / 30:40 - The horse bonked the plaque telling people he may bite!!

It's not a soft posting. These are MOD police and are more highly trained than pursuit/armed response units. They work the areas around military facilities and key infrastructure points.
He has a choice in that situation to chase down one individual or to stay at his post during one of the high risk moments for public stupidity at this location. He had to measure the importance of catching that one individual against keeping the rest of the crowd in the courtyard safe. Once the miscreant is tearing down the road they fall under the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Police so hopefully one of the regular plod caught up with them. These guys here cannot stray too far from where they're supposed to be.

London is now a minority white city. It's a cosmopolitan globalist outpost in our country. If you talk to a lot of Brits from around the UK you'll find that many of them avoid London if they can help it. Most of the old Cockney population have moved to the nearby county of Essex. The demographic shift has been so aggressive that the London accent has changed over the course of one or two generations. The Cockney accent has been replaced with what's called Multicultural London English which is a mish-mash of Cockney, Caribbean and South Asian accents all mixed together into one new accent. We've been subjected to some serious social engineering since Tony Blair came into power
