Going to Bangkok in May 2023 for 30 days of dental work, i will get out there and look for a car to import to Australia its not expensive and their work is better. Most Auto Body workers in Australia i have worked with in the industry hate their job and it shows in their work and prices. I have been to Bangkok 4 times and while i saw a few nice cars i had no idea they were into this stuff like we are, thanks again chad. Problem with ANY turbo cars is limited lifespan and high maintanance.
Nowadays in 2024 Australia is already the biggest buyer and be the most imported car from Thailand and they imported nearly 2 millions cars just per year the brands that they imported from Thailand such as Toyota, Isuzu ,Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Holden, etc.

Fun fact, that red s15 has a neo VVL sr20 cylinder head. They have multiple cam profiles factory that switch based on rpm like old school VTEC. They can rev pretty high and are basically the best flowing head for sr20s

Wasn't awear that Thailand was so advanced/updated in drag racing these are some bad ass high dollar builds with amazing combos. I've never seen 4cyl Turbo Disels making up to 2000hp before this.
I love seeing what other countries use for drag cars. I’m building a awd eg right now, It has a b18c right now , but I just bought a k24a from a tsx with pretty much built top end. I’m looking at boosting it after tax season 😂🤘
They definitely do some things a little odd but it seems like a cool atmosphere all in all. They should clean the burnout box and add a water box too. Cool to see how big of a influence drag racing has all over the world

We do have slide trucks in the us. Just not used as same as thailand. They called swap loaders. They r used for dumpster containers, sander bodies, dump. If you put a flatbed on it would be same..
275 rear wheel drive it's like 50% less tractions compare to Porsche 911 and with wider tires a lot better launch control of Porsche it's still get 1/4 in 10sec but that thing it's amazing it's don't need that hitech launch control but dog gear+ amazing skill driver and a lot and lot of BHP to get into 9 for 1/4 mile

The Evos and early Eclipses with automatics are absolute animals. With a good gearset they can take huge power.
