I wouldn't say No. People doubted them making playoffs and now have an over 90% chance of making playoffs. I wouldn't say no to world series. Anything can happen. This team has extreme resilience

Heck, check Hunter Browns numbers too, and it doesn’t stop there. Blanco threw a no hitter this season and has the 4th best ERA in baseball. Kikuchi has been lights out since Houston traded for him too.
Skubal is the better pitcher? Check Framber’s and Skubals stats from their last 15 starts.
The Tigers were a better juggernaut in 2006 and 2012 and lost against teams that were objectively worse. The 06 cardinals only won 83 games that year
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. They barely made this Wild Card spot. But compared to the previous seasons this is a huge accomplishment.

I’m telling you right now the tigers are the scariest team in baseball. The pitching and the bats are hot. As scary as Houston is I am willing to bet they are just as scared of the Tigers.

I guess I'm just gonna watch 'em play and see what happens. I'm 72 and I really have not seen this kind of run in any sport - I mean, they have no real marquee players with the exception of Skubal and somehow they're beating everybody, almost every day (and have been since late August). Some days Zach McKinstry is the hero - literally. Some days it's Jake Rogers. I mean.....huh? What's happening with this team has been wonderful, and, beyond bizarre. Everything about this team and this run is so completely improbable that I wouldn't go out on a limb and guess where it could end.
