Man, I love this man! He just embodies light, warmth, and happiness. Even if you only knew him for a few minutes, those are the feelings you would get in his presence. He makes you laugh and feel at ease. Such a caring kind hearted soul. He represents authentic Appalachian character. And what a great storyteller!!! Love this video!! ❤
It's been years since I've seen John Neese in person. He's just as enjoyable to listen to today as he was then.He makes everyone feel like a friend. Please film him again!!!!
John Neese is hilarious and deeply insightful. I wish he had a channel of his own and shared his stories regularly...they will never get old. His perspective on people is beautiful. "Look For The Pain And Take It Away"... I know countless Appalachains who live this way. ❤
Another great Appalachia storyteller. If laughter is good medicine for us then John's stories sure does give alot of medicine with all the laughter he brings. John has truly touched alot of people's lives with is humor and his big heart. A wonderful wonderful man. Another great Appalachia Storyteller. I loved this episode. These first few videos of Appalachia Storytellers has summed it up well...the people in Appalachia are real, loving, hardworking and caring. Keep them coming.
I love the theme that's running thru these videos...home, family, community, respect, caring, service, compassion, love of God. It's truly heartwarming. Great story about a true story teller. 🥰
I've been having a rough week, and, man, this really cheered me up. The story he told about the snakes in a bag and the accent he used had me rolling! This is my favorite episode so far. Keep them coming!
After watching this video, I spent almost half an hour trying to conjure up some kind of comment that isn't trite, cliche, and, well, stupid. I'll simply state that John comes across as a warm and very suitable representative of the people in Appalachia, and that my viewership of the channel is well-secured for the future.
@@storytellersofappalachia It truly is my pleasure, my friend. I have started to watch "Blackberry Winter" and will finish it a bit later. I candidly admit that I would likely pull up stakes and move to the region if it were not for my kids and grandkids living here in the Upper Midwest. So far, the subjects of the videos are the kind of people with whom I would share fellowship and the rest of my life if I had the chance. I'll post more in my comments to the "Blackberry Winter" video.
Thanks for watching & sharing!...we also love hearing from you in the comments!!

Your title seems to be spelled wrong as you have it on your title screen as "Tabacco." Or was that intended?
Nice catch 👌
