what I got from this video is that going strength is 100% more worth going piercing for pen, could just use pots to gain and lose the sanity, plus with strength its not 15 m1 pen for 15 seconds no with strength youre getting both phys and elem pen 15% forever lmfao
@@1ntequeyeah I do not enjoy these duration sort of buffs, u pop heretics and then for that 15 second window you would have for your pen you get nothing done with it, see I enjoyed taunt and had the same issue. But now with “cornered fool” talent you can proc taunt on guard break for 5 secs, its perfect for a follow up combo after a guard break and there’d be ways to guarantee that attack with frost or like deepspindle crit, its a consistent duration buff done right i honestly think they should rework some of these

it doesn't really have any buffs besides making your moves come out slightly faster, it still does the same damage etc people prob just forget about auto executing, i have fun doing it on random npcs, hard to do it on players since you have to know when they're low or do it when they're already knocked

Could've sworn that LYM procced every tier. So when you're scratching your eyes 15% dmg, when you're scratching 10% dmg and when you're shivering 5%. So you'd need at least 3 heretic sutra procs which is 1 minute for a buff that actually does something.

it works with sutra, but that's only because lym needs your sanity to be low for it to even do anything and sutra lowers your sanity when you use it; during the 15s of sutra itself, lym isn't particularly procced in any way

lower insanity is risky because in the vid it explains its a percentage loss of insanity. Regarding dying to insanity, if you lose all of your sanity/ your not careful your head can explode and just instantly die. Also the fact that the tiers of sanity hinder you in battle
@@zephapep6368 your head only explodes if you're on NLK or near one of the floating eye things. Otherwise, you only die when you get knocked fully insane, and in pve getting knocked is generally death anyway
Heretics sutra helps proc lose your mind when UNDER 35% sanity, as that is what is considered “max insanity” to the talent lose your mind. This is why I’ve stopped using heretics sutra, as the procs for it are so intricate and meticulously hard to get that it’s almost impossible to ACTUALLY gain an advantage from… Heretics Sutra IS misleading, kudos… 😭 Edit: The fact I’d have to continuously use the talent to reduce my sanity, just to realize lose your mind doesn’t work (if it is in fact true), breaks the meta’s credibility entirely 😢

piercing will passively procs at very low sanity, heretic's sutra just allows u to proc it without being that low

need to lose sanity like the talent says, but it needs you to actually be considerably lower than you'd expect
so the first use of heretics is pointless
i used to get it on every build but got too lazy cuz i never cared about it
Guess ill js be investing in weapon stats for damage now, none of these talents work bru
