Slightly surprised that covering the Neidpath tunnel you didn't also cover the Tweed viaduct at the end of it. But interesting - walked the railway path 20 years ago and I don't think the tunnel was open.
The ending to this one was somewhat rushed as I wanted to get it filmed before a large group of people reached me. With some extra time, I'd have rattled off a few more facts and set up the scene better.
Thanks. It's a bit oddly paced as there were a lot of TASTs around. The beginning was fine as I had the tunnel to myself but towards the end, loads of other people arrived so I rattled off a quick closing scene (which was badly filmed) and I headed back to the car.

Another good video Simon although I couldn't quite hear the closing bit because of the splattering water. Thumbs up!

nice find and a good explore
Cheers. I've been here a lot in the last few years and I'm slowly picking up more information about the place.
I just walked this today lol
Good wee "claustrophobic " vid

Creepy old tunnel. I'm afraid of the dark.
Would you feel worse if I told you that I came here by myself? In fact, I've explored quite a lot of old railway tunnels by myself.
