I can't imagine how the other player felt (as a fellow Dark Magician player) when this match ended. The pain I feel when losing to Meta decks is hard enough, but if I did all this Dark Magician set up, just to lose to Gren Maju of all things, I'd probably quit On the other hand this must feel uber satisfying to pull off on the other end
If your attacking monster attacks a defense position monster, but your monster has less attack points than the enemy's defense points, you take damage equal to the difference. Magician's Rod has 1600 Attack Points. Gren Maju has 10800 Defense Points. (400 x 27 Banished Cards) The attacking player took 9200 Points of damage from forcing his monster to headbutt a brick wall.
@@SoulHero7in other words assume if it’s a deck that banishes its own cards in the 20s that the face down card is most likely granmaju which gets more powerful from stuff like that
