The guys that are not good-looking but have a command of the language there do well. I met a Canadian guy in Colombia where I am now, who spent a lot of time in Russia and learned fluent Russian. He is not that good-looking at all, short, and he said he cleaned up there, and I believe him. Because I have seen it before of less-attractive dude with the language skills.
