Hi Fanni, your reactions to your first experiences in the Philippines was such a delight to see. Even though the Philippines is considered a poor country, it has so many beautiful landscapes, oceans, exotic fruits etc…that anyone can enjoy. People have to travel beyond Manila for sure.
I got envy to these 2 lovely 👭 coz they exploring the natural beauty of the 🇵🇭 .. while most of the Filipinos (including me) did not see all the beauty of our beloved country...
I so feel the love and positivity from your videos! Glad to see that you, your hubby, and your sister are all having such a great time1 Thank you so much!!
The way you speak is similar to our former neighbor in Manila from Bombay,India. Thank you for showing around the Philippines to your sis and brod. Hello Hungary!
WOW! Like Fanni, I’m speechless, too! Amazing rice terraces! Great drone coverage, Jonathan. 👏🏻 Thank you for taking us along. Enjoyed watching this vlog. Take care and stay safe! 🥰
I am very happy for you and your sister for appreciating the culture and beauty of the Philippines. Keep learning Tagalog which is our national language. You can go anywhere in the country by just speaking the national language. Keep safe and keep vlogging.
Hi po your sister is cute she is very nervous she did remove her hands grabbing the headrests take care always on your ride because that was cliff side ingat po kayo.
Climbing the stairs was good exercise. Nice to see all of you enjoying and happy. But the best place to view the rice terraces is in Batad! More exciting travels and adventures from you and interesting videos. God bless!
🇵🇭👍SUSIE IS MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN MANY 🇵🇭 FILIPINOS ABOUT OUR COUNTRY. GOOD FOR👍 HER AND WE APPRECIATE HER EFFORT TO KNOW OUR🇵🇭 COUNTRY AND EMBRACED IT AND 💞LOVED IT. GOD🙏 BLESS YOUR FAMILY! WE HOPE AND PRAY🙏 YOU WILL HAVE YOUR FAMILY SOON! GOD 🙏BLESS YOU, YOUR🙏 FRIEND, FAMILY 🙏AND YOUR COUNTRY TOO!!! MABUHAY👍👍👍!! 🇵🇭👊👍
Susie I really appreciate your videos. They're true to life and speak truly of not just my beautiful country, but of the people too. Your vlogs are very different but are very special because you're really living the life of a local Filipino and I get to remember my life as a boy growing up in Luzon in Tarlac where me and my cousins used to take our bikes and just go to the mountains and swim in the beautiful fresh clear rivers and hot springs near Mt Pinatubo. I've been living in California for 20 years now, but my heart never left my beautiful country and it's people. I'm retiring with my wife there this year near Clark. I hope one day we will get to see you guys around the area. Stay safe and take care. You and Jonathan make for a really great and beautiful couple. I hope Fanni enjoys more of the country as you travel along😊👍
Fannies reaction is so priceless ❤ I've only see this stunning nature in our books. But hopefully i can see it for real soon. Thanks susie for sharing this beautiful moment with us.
Fanni must be amazed for everything she see in all your trips to the Philippines!! There’s nothing like those in Eirope!! So, enjoy while you can and stay safe!!
My last visit in Banawe was way back 2008 and I haven't visited again. The roads have improved a lot not like before. Take care guys. Glad Fanni enjoyed the trip going to Buscalan.
After the cross-province trip through the glorious mountains of the Cordillera Range, hope your schedule can accommodate a "side" trip on your way back to Hungduan, Ifugao where the terraces are fantastic :) The sun roof clips are so much fun to watch, it's making us want to get a car with one for trips up the mountains. Happy for you three, and a for Fanni who's having the best visual and experiential treats thus far, including being deep in the forests and climbing up the Cordillera's steep sides and dose of our indigenous highland brothers' and sisters' brand of hospitality. Travel safe as always!
I love❤it...view.. me sometimes enjoy the weather ,the air when riding in the open clear blue sky..with music ..with a simple coffee bread and pancit or bihon.. and were good😂❤ yum yum
you should try and visit the BATAD side (Batad , Banawe Rice Terraces) it is where the picture in the postcard was taken. i am sure you will drop your jaw.
The terraces-which resemble steps carved into the mountainside-cover some 4,000 square miles (10,360 square km), and their total length is estimated at approximately 12,500 miles (20,100 km), roughly half the Earth’s circumference.
In the 70s, I remember watching a movie in the PH about Banaue. It took place in pre-colonial Philippines so the only enemy were the neighbouring tribes. The movie was heavily promoted and if you search, you'll probably find it. It was starring Tirso Cruz and Nora Aunor. Cool to see the area portrayed before mass tourism.
The Banaue Rice Terraces are sometimes called the 'Eighth Wonder of the World'. Perched 1,500 metres up on the side of the Cordillera mountains in Ifugao, Philippines, the network of fields is as old as some Egyptian pyramids.Feb 9, 2023
those ube-colored (don't think they have any actual ube or flavor, just coconut) bread/cookie bars can be very dry and hard so i'm happy you got some ok ones.
Try to read the epic story of Hudhud Hi Aliguyon. It's about two warring families especially Aliguyon and Dinogayan fighting in the rice terraces from dawn till dusk. But with a real heart and gentleman's promise.
it's nice to see the rice terraces during different seasons but when they're green and whne they turn golden are the best ones for me. post-harvest looks a bit sad.
