I’m sooo glad to see you playing this again! Your decorating and color choice’s are just as hilarious as before…
I do miss from the old one that people that would criticize your choices as you fixed up the houses. I am not sure why they got rid of that whole system but overall I like the changes the made. Always room for improvement though. I miss the before and after as well.

Support, i remember wayyyyy back when we all looked at house flipper 1 when it was a demo and thought 'who would want this?' sometimes you don't know what you want until its there
I’m not sure if it was already mentioned but it took me a while before I figured the light switches out so I wanted to share. if you’re trying to use 2 different switches for the same light, start by connecting from the light itself and bring it to all the switches you choose to have
Oh and also. I am one of those people who put a kitchen cabinet in their house that hits the window. Unfortunately there was no other way so we just use it as a drunk drawer since we cant access it fully
It's a perk to unlock more buyers when you sell a house. So you can get multiple, but it's unlockable. I don't know about the comments while you're working
For this flip I closed up the garage, built whole new rooms, knocked out the wall, upstairs now has a balcony, down stairs as extra large room. two bedrooms, one office and balcony, downstairs bathroom and down stairs living room... Point is, with this new house flipper, you're only limited by your own imagination!
42:20 you don't take a bath to clean Lol you take a bath to relax and just soak... think of a bath like a poor mans hot tub i mean you can use them to bathe but if your bath is become like "soup" then you don't bathe regular enough Lol don't wait a week to bathe and you wouldn't have that problem Lol
A bath is to relaxe in warm water your own hot spring

even though there is no texture and it's kind of flat, my workaround for no carpet so far has been to just wallpaper the floor (yep, possible). At least there is some pattern variation and not tile or wood panels.
oh painting under/over stairs is absolute hell, they gotta redo that
I don't have carpet. Only tiles and panels. I also hope they bring back the before and after. It was always the highlight after the project to see what you've done. I also hope restoration is a thing again, but not just in missions. I really enjoyed that. But as much as I want this game, I'd rather wait after numerous updates (or when I can afford it).
i like a healthy mix of both but maybe the houses are funner. i do love watching him put up the tiling it is like some type of calming sim.

Before and After feature is currently on the roadmap for House Flipper 2, and work looks to be already in progress? Just so you all know 😊
It's somewhat easy to know what colors go together. You know the color circle right? Draw an equilateral triangle from any color you choose and the other 2 points of the triangle are complimentary colors. Shades around it can be used to one degree or another, but the simple color itself should be a good start.

Btw, you can chain light-switches together to operate the same light(s), inside and out.
It’s interesting to see how the first instinct of everyone I watch is to cover up the original patterning and material work of the houses. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just not what I would think of. My creative eye sees what can be done to revitalize the original design
I think you can use copy to find the original and then change the material from distressed to regular. Have just learned how to do that. A lot of time, for me, the original is too dark.
I left it myself. I thought it gave a lot to work with. Alows you to tie in multiple colors.

If you where a Swede all walls and all kitchen and bathrooms stuff would be all white lol, Scandinavian living 😂 every time you do wood on the walls and dark doors I cringe 😂 but that’s just because I’m not use to it lol

I really like watching the jobs. Very cool
no actual carpets at the moment from what I can tell in researching that for you, HOWEVER>> You can use the fuzzy carpet like texture from the chairs or whatever it was you had in that first place you did on some floor surfaces ;). Otherwise it's rugs for right now. (or so some are saying online, just bought the game and am testing things out one by one)
I really like the way the house turned out when you were done. Even if the cabinets didn’t match the oven. Lol. The rooms all still looked amazing. And you managed to get a really good profit, I think. I hope rugs and stuff get added in the future, but I really appreciate that you can get so precise with the walls and floors now.
Edit: Also, I like the painting so I like having it in the videos. But I can see cutting it when you need to for time, like you did later in the video. 😊

I personally prefer wooden floors in rooms. Carpets gather dust way too quickly
What is amazing was that the BEFORE and AFTER part of doing the house flipping was MOST of the fun in doing the damn things. And, for them to just remove it entirely, makes you wonder if its worth bothering to keep flipping houses. They better bring it back quick. I have friends who RETURNED the game because this feature was removed! I don't get it.

Arrow keys? Must have missed a vid. Will have to try that because I have a trackball, and window washing, and painting with the "mouse" was awful! Did exactly the same thing. Had to google to find the auction. Great job.
If you connect the light switches to each other, they'll both work for the same lights.
I do miss an option for suggestions of what people want. They do have multiple offers once you unlock those perks.
Did you even put a toilet in the house? 😂 I always love to guess which colors you're going to pick, most of the time it's the opposite of what I would do 😂

I'd say work your ways up bit by bit, for a few houses... those 100K+ houses take a good bit in money after purchasing ;)

Every house I've ever owned, carpet was the first thing to go. Can't stand carpet. It's gross and collects too much dirt and pet funk. I grew up with carpets and my bedroom always had an odd smell. Discovered it was due to mice and the mouse smell was ingrained into the carpet. living in the country near grain fields is not fun when it comes to mice. we tore down a wall to rebuild it and buckets of soy beans fell out of the walls. It took six five gallon buckets to get it all out. But yeah, carpet just gets too funky. I will never have carpet installed in my home.
I made over 60k on my first flip, it shocked the hell out of me for sure.
It’s true the starter house does glitch after completion of game. I got around it by quitting the game - not save…. And when I went back it was ok.
Love your vids and hope you feel better soon! I do not like where you put the bed, too tight quarters and personally the color on the walls in that bedroom is so overpowering, maybe it would have been better with that color as an accent wall. Either way, you do you! Do some more jobs.
There is carpet yes, I just did a carpet in my bedroom. I’m British, carpet is the norm here
