The part where Lena asks Supergirl here real name why doesn't Kara just tell Lena pull her close look into Lena's eyes and say" it's me Kara and I love you" and then kiss her just like Alex did when she first kissed Maggie, Lena's heart would be melted because really she knows it's Kara how could she not know she just wants Kara to trust and care about her enough to tell her.
..and we hadn't seen anything yet! Actually, S5 was so satisfying precisely because they did clear the air: no more secrets, all out in the open. Now, Supercorp can really BEGIN . . . for one last season. Sigh. March 30!
This is where they started doing the real damage to Lena's character. My issue wasn't that she was upset at Supergirl, Kara screwed up with how she reacted to the Kryptonite issue. No Lena had a right to be upset. But the damage to her character was that they turned her into a self absorbed petty woman. Three beginning of season 3, Supergirl is her second best friend after Kara and yet Lena is unwilling to even entertain a discussion? Big mistake by the show because then when Kara finds out Lena is why Lex had powers, Lena defend her actions again and blame Supergirl for doubting her intentions when in fact her actual intent was to cure Lex of cancer. So even then she was lying. The show hated how popular Supercorp had become and tried destroying Lena's popularity
