  • 88,390 were in attendance on the 5th ANZAC Day clash at the MCG. Essendon were virtually unstoppable this season lowering their colours only once as the steamrolled toward their 16th Premiership. On this day 40 points separated the teams at the siren.

    that was good, i was a bit upset you didn't have the lead up but then i thought about it and i started to question my involvement in football and the blurring of the lines of the day to respect. i ended up just watching footy, but i still enjoyed it as i should.

    no lloyd wasn't. but tim saved my life in the dressing rooms. he was kicking in a small room with salmon and i was under pressure, salmaon miskicked and timmy saved me with a major one hander. 2000 was a great year. but not our best for that team. projecting to the boys tho, great effort, ennough is enough
