it bothers me that music like this is either only available through the rare cds or the ability to pirate it. It sucks.

you think this is hard to find&buy you should try to find/buy/listen to Terre Thaemlitz - Tranquilizer one of my favorites. Guess I hung out at the right record store at the right time.
This and his first album, 1194, are two of the best ambient albums ever. I finally completed the whole collection back when we had these things called...compact discs. :-D
em:t was one of the greatest and most important electronic music labels of all time, next to Warp, Rephlex, Planet Mu and Underground Resistance.

Here in France, I bought this album (and still have it) in 1995, I was fourteen. Listening to it is like seeing a movie, taking a departure for far away, c'est une machine à voyager dans le temps. Mesmerising...

Because your favourite music is apparently particularly well suited to your tastes, and as such, it is quite specific and does not appeal to many people. The same is true for 90% of the music out there - particularly well suited to tastes of a handful of people, not appealing to others. Viva la diversity.

getting woobed
Timeless: One of the best albums ever. Well-crafted ambience for whatever reality you can dream of. This and Woob 1194. I don’t know about current availability, but these albums were available back in the day (late 90’s-2000). I have both of them plus others.

Earthling Unlimited Both among the best ambient albums ever.
This is a standalone piece of art. Nothing comes close. 1194 was majestical, but this one is just stand out. I loved this guy before he got a deal, and ever since he has just excelled. magical stuff.
Whenever Creek comes on, I don my voodoo mask (with sharpened spear) and conduct ceremonies in my garden.
Yeah! This is a nice piece of trance music actually! Would love to hear it on some psytrance festival!

Is anyone else pissed off by how difficult it is to acquire this album? Woob himself seems to want no one to be able to get it. He makes the first album easily available, but not the second. I'm not a fan of artists who appear to obfuscate their past work. It's not like this album is obviously bad and embarrassing; rather, it's great!
I feel like I'd have to join a secret elitist club to get my hands on this.
discogs selling it.......but it can be found in CD markets in London.... I love the first one !!

I am at an ashram in Belize where if you stay focus, very focus, these birds will be around! Keel Bill toucan, shy but friendly. Makes interesting sounds!

there's something about the start of woobed... It makes me uncomfortable, yet protected, which is really cool.

Agreed! I have the full set, and yeah, they were hard as hell to find. Went on eBay for a bit too much back juuuuuuust before streaming and TH-cam became a thing. Now a bit easier to find. Phenomenal music.
