Thanks for the autopilot explanation. After v0.7.0 I was lost (lots of changes). And please SC put the G-force at top left on the HUD. The F-16 FM is actually really good! Love the FBW system. I HATE trimming (not needed in the real F-16, and not needed in SC f-16). Subscribed :-)
This tutorial was ok up until the point where you tried to hold 600kts at 10000 feet. The F-16 cannot supercruise, thats why your AB kept going on and off. Your fuel is going fast. People, don't do what he did.
Thanks a ton for this video. I didn't know the AP was in the menu. I also have a VFR map bug after the update on XSX. It's blank. It works fine on all the other planes in the sim. I also couldn't get the jet to mach 2+ at 40,000 ft. I prob was doing something wrong but I could do it before the update.
I’m having a problem with it following the different checkpoints. It’ll follow the flight plan to my next waypoint. Then it’s like stuck on the waypoint.
My one question is can you get the CFT’s to show up on the C variant, I’m aware that they are only really on non American variants but it still shows the CFT’s in the fuel load
Any clue why the sudden bounce happens when the landing gear go up and down? Is it because of the flaps going from full up to full down and vice-versa?
I have the same issue as well. Coming from the fantastic Heatblur F-14 I bought today the F-16. Whilst its great once you are in the air it is a nightmare at takeoff and landing with unrealistic pitch movements.. is this only an XBOX issue maybe?
Is there a way to make the flight path marker realistic? IRL that "drift co" switch at the bottom right of the icp controls it but in this game it doesn't. Without that it makes crosswind landings extremely difficult if not impossible it literally took me 6 tries to land with a crosswind last night bc i couldnt give the flight path marker the drift coefficent it has IRL or in any other legit sim. This viper is complete trash honestly. They need to to better, it's very unrealistic just everything about it from starting it to the avionics to the flight model it's just shit. It also drives me up the wall beyond belief that I had to watch TH-cam videos to figure out how to use the ILS on this aircraft in this game when I know how to do it IRL. This add on really sucks honestly I wish I could get my money back. Don't recommend at all.
Can you make a video or post on using the ILS (where to input the course, freq, and where to see GS and LOC) and where to see the DME countdown enroute to a waypoint? Thanks!
For some reason on Xbox the roll control is nice and crisp but the pitch is really bouncy and annoying. Like I'll pitch up 20 degrees, go back to neutral stick, and the nose will snap back down 15 degrees like it's on a rubber band. Makes landing unenjoyable for me.

Imo this is the most amazing jet in the sim right now. She's absolutely divine to fly, you feel like you can do anything with her. MY only complains so far are the lack of reflection on the Canopy and the poor texture quality on some elements inside the cockpit (funny enough some textures have higher quality on the 2 seats model) but that is all... What a fantastic jet and the sound package is outstanding, sounds like the real thing
You can't tho. Try doing a 9g turn in the mid 300kts range. It won't be able to do it itll literally stall out. That shouldnt happen. What about how you start it? What about the avionics? What about the bullshit autopilot? I could go on for days. This thing is terrible.

I would like to map that to a key-commend on a keyboard that I have connected to my Xbox, but there are like 4-5 different types of auto-throttle key command options and It's hard to tell which one corresponds to the one used in the F-16 DED UI. I thought this was my computer! I downloaded a free app to use the map while flying the F-16 because I couldn’t work out what was happening
Just one question, after startup when i takeoff, it wont let me use afterburner, it can go 300 kts at max

Why is it that when I cold start I have no access to full AB during the flight?
I’m also not able to access full afterburner, throttle sits at like 89%, kinda weird.
@@andrewng9977 I found out why! In the cold start you need to turn your AB control switch and it works
The ab reset switch. Another fucking thing that shouldn't be there bc it doesn't exist in the real aircraft.
Needs to be in normal not reset.
