He is the first ayurvedic doctor who's approach of explanation is soooooo scientific and convincing. After watching this I am convinced that Ayurveda is more richer than modern medical sciences. I really appreciate him, a lot.
Yes. And either way, whether your mind was convinced or not, the two medical sciences cannot be compared, at all. The Ayurvedic, true way of life is the deal for humanity.
Basic Ayurveda should be there in school curriculum so that individuals can develop a 'Dincharya' to get best out of what has been given to him or her by nature in general sense. Thank you for this illuminating and lucid sharing of knowledge.
Just getting started in Ayurveda but I really enjoyed how Stu explained the science behind it all. This has only left me with more questions than answers! Thank you!
Dear sir,,your giving very good info about ancient ayurved ,but we want hear hindi and other regional languages (translations),request do the need ful asap
The lecture is great however I do not agree with all which was being shared. Artists and highly creative people have often a large amount of Vata since Vata in it's Sattvic = pure and positive state is related to high creativity. Pitta does well not only in the army but in generally competitive fields and also they are wonderful public speakers, politics, activists but also leaders, work in a higher position, or one where one can be very active physically. 3rd, he said all people who are born in a cold country love heat but tolerate it only for a short time. I dony believe this since also in cold countries we have all types, I know types who for example absolutely dislike heat (also for a short time), or other who absolutely dislike cold and stay mostly inside during winter. Same like the interviewer said he and his wife tolerate heat in a very different way. Despite this I am very grateful for the video, as it is very well explained and set up ♡ thank you for sharing this.
According to all tests I've done im vata/pitta but i am prone to gaining weight. I'm definitely not skinny, Im medium built with strong muscles (when i work on them). I am certainly airy in my psychological state and i love spicy anything (not extreme where I'd be crying from the heat).
Q: How do I balance drava-bahula amlapitta? Pitta as well all know comprises of water and fire. In this pitta imbalance we have an increase in the water element. Pungent herbs are usually pitta aggravating. But since fire has the power to dry out the water, can they be useful?
Waiting for a video on Ayurvedic view on exercise and workout. When we look back in past India has produced great warriors and their routine must have influenced by yog and Ayurveda. Pls tell us something about those things :)
MJ ENERGY I think that weight training in measured doses is very balancing and strengthening for Vata people as their natural tendency is being light. However, it's extremely important to not overdo it. 3-4 days of strength training with breaks every 4-6 weeks should do the trick. I am a Vata and when I don't engage in weight training, I feel very weak and depressed. I don't however over exert. I never choose weights that I can't lift for atleast 6 reps. And the 6th rep shouldn't be a killing one too. So 6-12 reps.
If somebody is into excercise (for examples like running, playing football, weight lifting), What does Ayurveda has to say about that? For example what should one eat before excercise to get ready (modern sports science says to eat a lots of carbs to use it as a fuel during excercise) and after excercise (modern science says to eat protein rich food to recover and rebuild muscle) as per ayurveda? I haven't heard much about Ayurvedic views for Sportsperson. Can you please share your persestive as per Ayurveda about getting ready and then recovering from excercise in proper way to maintain long term health. I would really be thankful if you can share some knowledge about this.
Ayurvedic science had given big importance to exercise & problems occuring due to excessive practice by all acharyas,it is recommended to include as daily routine in the morning itself & defferent rules according to seasons & personal changes.but breakfast is recommended after exercise shower etc.
