    Amazing work billy and Blindspot team 🎉, just brought the 3 x kit + some accessories . Really looking to get it out on the road . Will also be great for monitors and wireless video senders 🙌🙌.

    Just ordered… I’m going to use it on my LUMIX S5 II - What cable do I need?

    Hello,
    I recently purchased the Junkie V2 and the Pipe BMPCC. When I connect it to my Pocket 6k, the power junkie makes an unusual noise. The camera does not indicate that it is receiving 12v, and the power junkie error indicator is illuminated.
    Could you please advise if I am doing something incorrectly? I am using the Powerextra npf 750 - 770.
    Thank you for your assistance.

    Will this work correctly with the BMPCC 6K Pro? Other battery plates seem to shut the camera off after a while 😞

      Using the 12V output it will work great.

    Can this plate charge NPF while NPF it self powering the camera, or may be it has some kind of pass through ability? I want to use actualy power my camera from power grid and to have this plate with NPF battery in the midle of power grid and the camere, in case if electricity shut off, my camere still will be powered fro NPF on the plate.
    it's kind like most camcorders works, if native battery connected to the camcorder, you can run it from power grid, but if power grid will shut down, camere will pe runin from its battery without any stop/pause/shutting down

    The only issues I had with the first version was the limited mounting option. Really glad to see this version provide a more suitable screw in option. Regardless, some awesome upgrades here.

    Just got one of these. Having a bit of time making it work properly with my GH5, a dummy battery and the USBc in/out. I have to take the dummy battery out and back in before the unit recognizes and powers up the camera. Unplugging the USBc and replugging it alone does not do the trick. So i dont know if this will work for me.

    Does the Junkie v2 require 12v batts for 12v output or is it using a boost driver?

  • @Briterflix
    @Briterflix ปีที่แล้ว

    I own both the v1 & v2 because I hate dummy batteries. Can you recommend anyone that sells either a "micro to DC cable" or a "micro to USB-C cable" that is 3 or4" in length? I do photos, not video, so I don't need all of the extra cable.

    Can it charge the NP F model battery also - got plenty of those batteries but no charger

    • @BlindSpotGear
      @BlindSpotGear  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, it charges them via the USB-PD

    Billy and Blind Spot Team - is there any risk of blowing the HDMI port on a camera and/or frying everything when powering a monitor + camera with the Power Junkie V2?
    I'm powering a BMPCC4K + Monitor + Audio all on their own batts after hearing camera frying stories. If the V2 let's me use the one battery, I'm all over it

    • @BlindSpotGear
      @BlindSpotGear  ปีที่แล้ว

      The audio will be your stumbling block. You will need a Ground Loop Isolator to stop noise interference. We have a FAQ question on our Kickstarter page all about it. Hope this helps.

    Hi Blind Spot,
    Does this v2 support Canon R5 and R5C (8K60fps needs at least 9V 3A)?
    Your KS campaign shows a picture of the Canon R5C but the compatibility list doesn’t show these two Canon models.
    Can you please confirm?
    I want to use it for the R5C as main with Atomos Ninja 5+ and back up with R5 + Ninja 5.

    • @BlindSpotGear
      @BlindSpotGear  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hiya, yup powering via PD it does work and via dummy battery. I need to update our canon section. Thanks for pointing this out.

    • @BlindSpotGear
      @BlindSpotGear  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The set up with the ninja will also be a fab way to use the Power Junkie V2, I haven't had that exact setup tested, but it's all within its powering range.

      @@BlindSpotGear hey there, I have a blind spot v1 and currently have it connected to an apple adapter lol, what would you recommend to charge it more quickly? What should i search for? usb c to ac adapter? I just don't want to fry it, it's a neat device. I come from 3d, so I'm still learning camera stuff.
