Kayla Jackson, my boyfriend's a musician and I tried his over the summer but it's not the same shape as the thing Saf used. It doesn't work very well. But with lots of practice you may be able to get it.

m ruth To be fair both of them have guts in the way that they're happy going out in public in all sorts of ugly or weird things, and I appreciate that they both have no issue with having fun for the sake of their channels even at the risk of some people judging.
While I think he'd totally go out in make up for a video, honestly they're just testing to see how easy he finds it as someone who has almost no make up application experience - even if he were to be sensitive to judgement at all, what they were both testing was simple enough.

Another problem with these stamps and stencils and “get the perfect, matching wing on both sides, every time!” gimmick is the fact that our faces are not perfectly symmetrical. And our eyes definitely aren’t. I have to do my wings/liner completely different for each eye because one eye is a little more round (hardly noticeable, but still a thing) and one eye is a little more open (again, not super noticeable, but definitely something I have to be conscious of when doing liner/wings in order to make my eyes match). So, that’s also something to take into consideration with products like these. :)
Renae P. So true! I have to do the same thing. My eyes are different, but I am everyday cat liner wearing kind of gal! I think that a great liner is the secret to beautiful makeup. That as well as a bold but ombre natural brow.
Me too. I have almond eyes but one eye is smaller that the other but its not noticeable unless you look very closely.
Renae P. Omg absolutely yes. I have the same issue and my cat liner never matches so I always have to spend so much more time on it . One eye seems to be rounder or have a rounder crease at the end and one eye is slightly flatter so the cat liner comes out so perfect😤 but of course the difference is not noticeable to others . I felt like I was the only one out there even tho I was sure I wasn’t, but u feel that way😬😂😉

The eyeliner stencils could help you get a really cool look with different colours for special occasions, but I'm not sure if they'd be a good idea to use every day. The way they stretch your eyelids when they're removed might not be great for your eyelids over time. I've got sensitive skin so I'd probably also get irritation from the adhesive, but that might not be a problem for everyone.

I tried the stencils and I was apparently allergic to the adhesive and my eye swelled up until I couldn't see.
You're definitely right about the pulling on the skin there. That'll just cause wrinkles over time that could be avoided. And hopefully, the adhesive they use is suitable for sensitive skin, too.
I just think it's an extra expense that can be avoided. Just practice getting the flick, I start with the flick and work my way to the other corner. When I was younger like in my young teens I was dreadful at applying liquid liner, it looked like ancient Egyptian eyeliner but wonky lol its a pain in the neck if your eyeshadow is looking good and you fudge the liner or your eye decides it's gonna start watering :)

This quote is me too lol. I'm 16 (turning 17 on the 16th of January) and I can't do my eye liner well so it's always uneven but it looks okay but still.
The stencil isn't practical as most people apply eyeliner after eyeshadow is already applied.

I found an eyeliner stamp here in the UK that is almost like a felt pen with 2 ends on it, so both ends always have a supply for eyeliner. I am someone that hasn't worn make-up for over 2 years then got a perfect wing with it straight away

Thanks for testing out these products. I just watched this video last week and hurried to order the Vampstamp. My little girl is in dance and doing a wing on her is so difficult. This little gem worked wonderfully! It usually takes an hour to perfect her makeup, our time was cut down to 30 minutes. Thanks so much, love the videos.

I have different sized eye hoods (if that makes sense) (but not hooded eyes? I have doubles like Saf) and it gets SO noticeable if i wear eyeliner. So it would be a fair for me as well.

I just searched sacha velour and I don't think that style of eyeliner is gonna look good on me I have very small hooded eyelids. So not enoug space for that 😂 I can barely see the eyeshadow I used after applying eyeliner :(

Symmetrical stencils rarely work well for makeup purposes since very few faces are entirely symmetrical, you need to tweak shapes quite a bit to get a symmetrical looking result. This is really why making the perfect eyeliner wings are hard to begin with, since the face isn't symmetrical you need to work differently with your right and left eye.
So I don't think you did anything wrong, the stencils just produce different results on your eyes because, well, it would be weird if that wasn't the case. The only makeup stencils which work well are the ones you make yourself based on your personal facial architecture. This can be done, and when we all have 3D-scanners in our homes, I wouldn't be surprised if we could order stencils which perfectly matches our face.
QuiteFranklyFrank having your own stencil made to match your face would literally be HEAVEN 😍
In the future I imagine that we will have 3D-scanners and a makeup robot with stencils which just sprays all the makeup on your face! Entirely possible with todays technology too, it's just a wee bit on the super duper mega expensive side at the moment, but it would be so cool, I want it today!

I knew a lady in the 90s that had tattoo liner, wish i could have it but I wouldn't be able to afford the repeat visits since it wears off as its not a deep tattoo. Maybe they do it differently now than they did then though /shrug
m L you can always cover it up using a nice concealer/ lid coverage cream,, and then do your eyeliner like you normally would if you don’t want your wing to be the way it is always on that particular day! it’s not 100% permanent as it fades quickly from sun exposure, and not being entirely deep in the skin. most people go for a v natural line and wing rather than a HUGE glam look, that way they can easily build on it if they want it thicker!
I think that for your big and round eyes, the wider and thicker liner looks really great!
