Will you cover 2 handers at some point in the future? Or will you just stick to 1 handers. If you would just stick to 1 handers thats fine, but can you do a deep dive of Norm Duke at some point and add in how to modernize and add power to his game?
First of all, yes I do plan on doing two handed analysis on players like Belmonte and Simonsen. Although I am not the best person to cover two handed as I coach new one handers, but I do have a reasonable amount of knowledge on the subject to try. I might try to collab with a two hander to see what all to include. Also that's a great video idea, I'm looking at making more of these so that fits perfectly. I'll do some community polls every couple days to see who people would like to see most.
@@DBeMeNLV And no one respects the opinion of the 180-190 average 40 year old man throwing either a ball made in '06 or a Proton Physix up the 10 board with 140 revs.
EJ is literally one of a kind. His physique allows him to throw it that way. Dude is incredibly athletic as well. If he wasn't bowling he'd be really good at other sports.
Norm duke had this figure 8 swing in one of his old dvds. EJs ball gets out to the right because he pushes the ball in front of his body like say for instance his breakpoint is ten well as duke explains and in my own personal practices you push the ball equal angle to the left in front of your body and the ball naturally loops out to the right and comes back under you to that opposite angle or to the intended angle. Think about it like this when we swing a bowling ball standing still if you push it forward and let it drop in the backswing it’s almost equal to the height of the push away same with the side to side and there’s actually a lot of pros that use this technique like Sam Cooley comes to mind who has pretty much the same type of large figure 8. All I’m saying is it’s been taught from years and years ago and it’s more common than you think and as far as his rev rate EJ is super consistent and inhuman lol
About EJ’s figure eight swing. Notice that to get the ball to swing out to his right side, he starts the ball in motion at the push away with the ball in front of his body. It doesn’t stay there long, but that’s where it starts.

@@OneHandedBowling Amazing. One more I would like to add is Mike Fagan, as he is my personal favorite 1 hander. Keep up the good work 💪💪💪
Nobody cares about two handers aka the hacks of the bowling world.

There is no one that can copy this. He has thrown this for 20 years 500 times a week. He has perfected this.
Love the channel name. We are a dying breed.
I just meet him today and made my night!

He’s a golfer
Question. Would it be worth dropping a pound to get below the equator of the ball?
He reminds me of roller coasters with a build up (climb) / power follow through (the pendulum).
Walter Ray Williams Jr and Wes Malott also employ the figure-eight swing.
@@bengoose2031 They do, but certainly less of a wide motion and more of a small wrap around
@@OneHandedBowling good point and all highly successful bowlers.
