    Jesus! This thing is WORLDS faster in RPCS3 than Zen 3. Good Test.

      Yeah it was much faster initially (launch day), but it got an even bigger boost with some updates that make RPCS3 aware of more Zen4 strong suits, such as AVX512 and others.
      I'm asuming he's using the newest RPCS3 Zen4-optimized version.

      @@Alp577 Almost equivalent IPC + AVX512 help.
      However a 13900K at 6 GHz on the P-Cores would probably still do better.

      @@raresmacovei8382 I have a 13 liter ITX build, I dint think a 13900k will fly and might melt my case. 😂 I really want a 13700k as a second option, but I end up with 7950X3D for 100W less on 75C 240mm AIO.

    very nice, why's the 3090 chugging though, rpcs3 doesn't usually use much gpu, my 3070 stays pretty low even with 4k in rpcs3.

      This is more CPU limited than GPU, I also didn't turn off most of the post processing effects in the patches so the speed takes a bit of a hit.

    • @HazzyDevil
      @HazzyDevil 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure why people always mention the temps for zen 4.
      It has been made to hit the 95C threshold. The silicon’s longevity will be within spec when running at that temp 24x7.
      And you don’t even need to get an amazing cooler either, as it will still target that temp. You’ll just see a knock back to your clocks depending on the cooler.

      The CPU usage from RTSS isn’t really accurate in this video due to how many cores/threads there are. In my newer videos I have included a lot more info about what CPU is doing, hopefully it should give better picture of what’s going on.

    It only uses 5% CPU but 70% of GPU. I thought RPCS3 utilizes CPU alot more than GPU.

    • @sl9sl9
      @sl9sl9 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It does use far more CPU than GPU. That overall % is counting all 32 threads of the CPU, RPCS3 is mostly only using 6 to 8 cores and not always maxing out all of them either.

    • @raresmacovei8382
      @raresmacovei8382 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's very CPU heavy yes, but if you start cranking up the resolution the GPU also starts to matter at a certain point.
