    Hey, if I book a one-day challenge, does it come with the equipment? I saw the price on Klook, and it's pretty reasonable, but I'm not sure if the lesson is just an intro or a full-day thing.

      Klook has Teine now? Anyway, as mentioned in my vlog, if you book through the Teine Olympia website, the package comes with the equipment. Half day is only intro so get the full day.

    Thanks for sharing your experience. May I know the camera you used and if you attached it on yourself while skiing?

      I used an Insta 360 x3 camera. I just inserted the invisible selfie stick to my pocket.

    Was the morning session just a lecture about the basics? Or did the instructors help you practice on the bunny slope before riding the gondola?

    • @enialee86
      @enialee86  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was a basic lesson - how to wear the ski, positions, starting, stopping, etc. We were allowed to practice on the slope.

    hi may i know how early can you book the lesson. as i see from their website, they do show calendar but reservation not available for any dates, not sure it's sold out or haven't release

      Hi, it’s possible that the schedule is not yet released. But slots are also limited so if there are group bookings, it may be full. In my case, I booked just about 1 week before the trip. It was peak season but I was still able to get a slot. I suggest to check again.

    May I ask what date did you go? I'm interested in enrolling in their first-time ski experience full day challenge. I checked on their official website but there are no details regarding booking process. I'm not sure whether the dates are not available yet for posting or if it is fully booked. Did you book your reservation in their official website or via a third party?

      Hi! I went in February 2023, the week of the Snow Festival. I booked through the official website but it is possible that they don’t have schedule yet since there’s no snow. Try again by late November.

    Hello! :) Question, did you buy boots in Manila for walking over snow? If yes, may I know where from and if they are really anti-slip?

    • @enialee86
      @enialee86  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! For skiing, the fee includes rental of the boots and equipment. Ski boots are special and expensive so I don’t recommend buying unless you will be skiing regularly.
      For my walking in snow during my trip to Sapporo, I have old boots that look like Timberland. My friends bought online (they said they bought cheap snow shoes lang but Ok naman) and some from Columbia or other sports store. If you have regular shoes, you can also buy crampon that you can attach to make it non slip for snow. I bought a crampon but didn’t use it.

      To add, the regular stylish boots for travel to Europe or other cold destination without snow are not advisable. You would need shoes with thick soles that are not flat (yung may parang ngipin 🦷). But I know someone who wore Keds in Sapporo 😂 Not recommended but she survived.

      @@enialee86 Hahaha coincidentally enough I have Keds boots. Thanks for all the tips! Will look into using crampons probably. :)
