      @@AffordBindEquipment if you look at the end they show you after cutting it at 0:35 you will see no copper. tinned copper is still very much copper coloured on the end when it's cut. this would just be aluminum wire. that said, copper wire is coated exactly the same way.

      @@darinwilton9122 good catch. I didn't see that. It also explains why he can bend it around the pulling wire so easily.
      But that raises another potential problem: are those who use this wire, are they using the correct special connectors so buildings aren't being burned down? Here in Calif, they used a lot of alum. in housing for awhile and the main circuit breaker boxes would catch on fire from arcing, eventually burning the house up.

      @@AffordBindEquipment many places still use aluminum wire as it's much cheaper. and yes, it does somehow manage to work itself loose and can cause fires. i used to own a mobile home that had aluminum wire but i changed it to copper from the panel to the pole after the first year. was an expensive upgrade lol
