- Original Showtape Title: 3 Birthday Reel
Original Release Date: January 1980
Rerelease Title: SPP 3 Birthday Reel
Rerelease Date: May 1986
This reel contains the three birthday shows used at ShowBiz Pizza Place from the early '80s until 1988. The exact date of the tape's release is unknown, but it is believed to have been released in either 1981 or '82, as Beatles Birthday and the Birthday Medley both appeared on records in '81, and Sal's Birthday made it's debut on "Gee, Our First Album" in 1982. Unlike with PTT which had it's special shows on the same reel as it's main showtapes, The Rock-afire and a seperate tape deck that would play the special skits, so they could be cued on demand. The reel was released several times prior to 1988. It would be rereleased in 1983 with two new special skits for Crazy Colander Head Night, the Indoctrination and the History of the Colander. That same year, a version of the original reel would be released, without programing on Rolfe & Earl's stage for stores with Uncle Klunk. In 1986, it would be rereleased yet again, but this time with new programming done by ShowBiz Pizza Time, Inc. In 1988, with the "Birthday wave" format being introduced, and stores beginning to convert their show formats from reel to reel tape players to the "Cyberstar" S-VHS format, the birthday reel became obsolete, and only Beatles birthday and the new "Birthday Spectacular" show could be cued by the push of a button.

Bring these guys back as a venue/animatronic show
They did every character so wrong in that photo lol
Actually my theory is that the artwork was based off the early beta Rockafire stages.
@@dannyboystartronicalpizzaw9692 I know but still it’s for wolf pack 5
@@JG1universeyea because wolfman is on there and dingo
@@BlueFoxy87wolfmans not on there. The wolfman has a mustache
@@ILOVEAMERICANEAGLEand wolf man doesn’t aways wear the black suit, like at gaslight village where he a pink one.
I like how they based this artwork on the Wolfpack 5. (You can tell because of Duke’s outfit, Rolf’s tuxedo, and the lack of Earl.)
and beach bear looking like the wolf pack's 5 beach bear
Nope, they are the beta beta rae.. or just very very early versions of the rae
@@Mickey-pancakes-are-good well, Rolfe is wearing the Tuxedo that the Wolfman was wearing (Earl is also absent,) and Dook Larue’s outfit is akin to Dingo Starr’s, so this likely is the Wolfpack 5, but with Billy Bob and the Looney Bird. (Or this artwork could’ve been made during the development of the Rock-Afire Explosion)
@@jacobturner3059 yeah he already said stuff like that I just added the beach bear thing
@@jacobturner3059 most likely the development
