Some might be fooled by the Rieju name automatically assuming it’s a budget brand from China, that is definitely not the case! Rieju is located in Spain and has been around for almost a century. The 2022 MR300 Pro might look familiar to some and no your eyes are playing tricks on you. This machine is built off the last generation Gas Gas 300 two-stroke platform right before Gas Gas was purchased by the Pierer Mobility Group. Rieju will also have 2022 MR200 Ranger, MR300 Ranger, MR200 Racing, MR250 Racing, MR300 Racing, MR250 Pro models available in the USA. For more information on the complete line of 2022 Rieju line go to www.rieju-usa.com .

I live in Spain and the Rieju 300 is definitely going to be my next bike. For 7900€ you can’t beat it. Great bike with high quality components at a great price plus a kick start, KYB suspension and an FMF pipe. What’s not to like.
After 3 tpi's I bought the 2022 mr300 pro and hands down the best bike I've owned 👌 literally blew me away! Stable is an understatement.
Hi, loved your comment. I'm coming up to replacing my 2020 ktm. I can't complain about my ktm. I do 160h a year on it and I've not had one problem. I was going to replace it with another ktm but I seen a few rieju 300s at my local dealer and I think I'm going to go for it.
I think Rieju is also very smart to fill the 200cc market.
Absolutely, a 200 is hard to beat in the tight woods
I couldn't be happier for buying my 2021 MR300 Racing. I race desert scrambles in Southern California most specifically, but I do some GP's too and did my first Sprint Enduro a couple of weeks back. I'm winning most everything I enter on this bike. The suspension is top notch. It's not the fastest, but when geared correctly it will pull with the best of them. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. The price is right and the bike is everything you'd want in a 300 2T
I am from Spain. I had a Gas Gas 300 in the year of 1999. I had too much fun with that bike. I Just have good memories. And I am thinking to buy a Rieju 300. guaranteed fun.
I have a Rieju 300 MR Rancing, nice bike so far
Where Is it made??
@@Davido50 Rieju it's from Spain..
Just north of Barcelona in Girona. Rieju has been around a long time.
Steka aqui kkkkk
I have a 2021 300... And a 2019 Husky... I prefer the Rieju ... The bike is awesome and almost $3000 less.
Anything but the Bajaj brand bikes please! This is a breathe of fresh two stroke air!
Brapppp
Like the early Gas Gas bikes, these machines are sleepers and make some of the best gnarly terrain trail bikes built in my experience.
I was going to say the same. Just like GASGAS pre KTM.
Isn’t that what they are is pre KTM GasGas bikes.
I have a 19 ec300 , its been a great bike..
I like this narrator, he relaxes me.
I like this guys voice it’s calming
Backup Kickstart is so clutch imo🔥
It's a 2019 gas gas with fmf exhaust.
What's not to love about it?
Buy em while they are cheap.
The best two stroke enduro bike in my opinion
😂
2011gas gas ec 300 is the best bike i've ever ridden
In Spain people ride these all over the country and trails are everywhere. =Very common and 300cc 2T is an excellent engine size.
Having said that the new Rieju 10gallon+ (2 tanks) enduro is probably the better choice for adventure.
I love this bike gasgas 300 gp 2018, with smartcarb sc36 run great. Lovemy bike alot
Want one so bad. When I was a teen and lived in Girona everyone wanted the Rieju Drac.
Very happy owner here from Australia.
Probably a good choice for guys who like the carb machines
I have GAS GAS EC 250 2T, perfect bike 🏍 🔥🔥🔥
Same bike as the 2019 Gasgas just doesn't come with a full Fmf exhaust and, it has different graphics.
The exhaust is fmf.
I have the Pro version of this bike and it is absolutely amazing. Basically it is Yamaha yx250x on steroids.
Simple, easy to work on, dependable and an absolute weapon in the woods.
Fantastic woods bikes for hare scrambles or enduro. Can’t go wrong
The wp suspension is why I’ll not own another ktm or any of the off shoot brands. Im definitely interested in this bike because of kyb. My previous Ktm bikes we could never get to feel that good no matter which company I had do suspension. I got back on a kyb sss bike and first revalve nailed it
Check out Sherco!
Sherco are cool, but cost around two grand more than Rieju and you get the KYB suspension. Either would be amazing.
That's because KYB is the best period no matter the cost! God bless Japan!
Brappp
@@motoyamasnigglepuff8654 I just feel in to my first harley-davidson and I've been singing Japan's praises every since 🙏 you meet the nicest people on a honda🤣
Bought a 2021 MR 300 racing. I was looking for a Beta 300 RR race edition. The shop was sold out when I got there. The owner sold me on the Rieju. Can't beat the KYB. I race the AMA D38 Desert Series in San Diego. I'm killing it on the Rieju. Once I got the suspension sprung and valved to my weight, I haven't lost a race this season. It's not the fastest, but its 80% Indian and 20% horse in most cases anyway. Just geared it for the wide open stuff. You have to wring it out in 6th gear a lot of the time. I love my Rieju!
I never even heard of this brand! Looks nice!
Try one. You will like it.
Only 85 years old brand…
Me neither. I would love to find a dealer in the northeast to check one out.
It’s old gas gas. Nothing special, stay away
@@kt550 On the contrary..
A guy I know has one. He drove 1,500 miles to ride in Utah and his Rieju never made it on the trail. Shitty radiator weld and something else made it impossible to ride.I do believe they ride good tho. That old Gas Gas motor was Strong
Aftewr some tilting, the left radiator on mine is now like a banana shape, no leaking, just works :-)
The Radiators are a weak point, basically made of paper, a brace is a absolutely requirement.
Great bike and most definitely a great price.
I had a 19 gas gas and absolutely loved it , I’d still be riding them if I could get them or a rieju . Had to go to ktm last year.
I want one Now !!
These bikes rock! Trying to sell my TPI Ktm for one 😃
Very happy to see another 2stroke option on offer.... Hey Japan!! What's going on?
I'm guessing these bikes don't have a balancer shaft in the motor yet. I suspect that would be thing I miss the most. I didn't think it mattered until I rode a bike with a balancer for an extended time.
I agree with you there. The vibrations are probably a deal breaker for me.
I have ridden the last GasGas EC300 - great bike but definitely has the old school vibes.
I would actually enjoy that mechanic feel
Seems like an excellent 300cc Dirt Bike, especially for it’s pricing.
Thank you 😊
That awkward moment when the 2018 actual gasgas designed bikes are better than the brand new 2022 ktm designed gasgas bikes.
Also Rieju makes a killer 50cc bike
These old gas gases are nightmares lol
@@kt550 you don't know what you're talking about obviously. I have a 2018 Gasgas EC300 with 280hrs and no issues, absolutely solid bike.
@@West_Anderson starter issues and clutch issues
@@kt550 Rieju redesigned the starter to solve those issues, but my 280hr Gasgas has literally never had a starter issue. Also there's no issues with the clutch, the Gasgas clutch is probably one of the most bullet proof ones out there.
I have a 2019 Gas Gas EC 300 with more than 250 hrs and I don't have any single issue so far.
The starter needs some maintenance (lubrication) every season, but apart from that it's a very reliable bike.
I would be very careful before starting spreading rumours about a brand if I wouldn't know my self!
id like to see if you could get a hold of a TM racing 300
Now make that 300 shootout, with Rieju, HuskyGasKtm, Beta And Sherco - and redeem yourself!
250 shootout is asking to much.
Anyone ridden these never Rieju’s compared to 2012’s Gas Gas?
I was thinking about Kyb vs Marzzochi, powervalve clearance - power increase and the new frame if it makes for drastisc improvments??
I really like the "og" GasGas bikes. But I think it would me more appealing if that had cooler graphix . Initially, it looks like a cheap Chinese bike. Even if you don't know what Beta and Sherco bikes are they just look cool.
Someone needs to redevelop the 2 stroke for motorbikes , make a rear facing exhaust to move the expansion chamber out of the way of front and side hits. Or use technology developed by Orbital in Australia in the late 90s design (direct injection that really does away with the need to exhaust tune) and you will have one great motorcycle engine.
What ktm, or gasgas parts exactly fit, cylinders, pistons, cranks, gears, radiators, carb boots, power valves, etc and can be bought at Rocky mountain, or motosport etc?
None, this design was prektm and before they ruined gasgas by making it a red ktm.
@@West_Anderson so the older gas gas stuff will fit? If the older gas gas parts are still available. Rieju probably has parts available and being manufactured, or are they just re badging left over stock till supply runs out and that's it? Who would buy a bike you can't get parts for?
@@danielarney9729 yeah anything that fit the 2018-2020 Gasgas will fit the Rieju. And no Rieju is manufacturing all new components and continuing parts stock. Getting parts is not a issue.
There isn't any spare parts supply problem!
Rieju was supplying the parts for Gas Gas long before the name was transferred to KTM.
theres a dealer in hutchinson mn, a buddy has one a absolutely loves it.
nice i like the old atk frm usa
Better than a tpi i bet
Please I hope they come to south Africa
In Australia, it's too much money for an old model.
It's dearer than a Sherco or Beta here.
Sounds rich.
What DEALERSHIPS will have them - ???
Their us website has a dealer button takes you to a list of dealers by state. Their Spanish website may do the same for Europe haven’t checked.
@@Rieju300 For an all around enduro this is hard to beat.
How bout a 500?
very nice
The name is almost a deal breaker haha jk. How hard would it be to get parts in the USA
Love that it has KYB suspension, but once one goes to a balance shaft equipped two stroke, they can't go back.
Cannot notice any vibration while riding my Gas Gas 250 (Rieju), however my old Yz490 sure had noticable vibrations. Since KTM is out of the question, i realy would fancy a new Rieju someday.
@@fimenduro I had a WR500 (YZ490 engine) back in the early 90s. Ya, that bike had epic vibration - LOL
I own one of these and only notice vibrations if I’m doing high speeds for extended periods. Still not enough to bother me, but noticeable coming from a TPI KTM I sold for the 300 pro. No regrets.
@@sarahdell4042 Nice! Carb > TPI in my opinion. I ride an '18 300 XC as I wanted the balancer and the carb.
Were you at Shady Burro by any chance? I might have talked to you during the race delay 😁
@@craighoffman6876 Not me! That event looked awesome though. I juggle my time between TN & NC, rarely have the time to ride whenever I find myself out west.
You should look at the GPX Moto TSE 300L. $6700
If I buy one, do I have to premix like in the stoneage? 🤔
Even KTM has gone back to premix. It’s not like you’re ripping these on the street.
@@sarahdell4042 I ride wherever I want. I ain't messing with oil and measuring cups like a hillbilly grease monkey.
@@tommy_rotten3984 So you ride wherever you want, which means illegally. Exactly the reason why the general public hates dirt bikers, and places get closed off. Because people like you who can’t follow the rules.
Judging from how you talk, chances are you cannot read a measuring cup.
I won't buy a new bike until yamaha makes a 2 stroke wr again I've rode a few new enduro models from different companies yes they are pretty good but they just don't appeal to me for a few reasons and I'm sure they won't be around in 40 years
Is this similar to the GPX 300?
No, this bike has heritage from Gas Gas enduro bikes and Toro engineered frame with Kyb suspensjon.
Good bike. $2k isn't enough savings over KTM though. I see this brand in the company of SWM. $8k and I would buy one just for the hell of it.
Don’t forget the $1-$2k you need to spend on WP suspension work to match the KYB! This bike is not in the same class as SWM, not even close.
Hahahaha that’s such an ignorant statement. My friend rides a the last GasGas EC300 before KTM bought them and it is at least as good as the equivalent KTM. Just because you’ve never heard of the it doesn’t mean they are garbage. I seem to remember many Americans saying the same about Sherco not that long ago…
@@Mockle07 the non-counterbalanced engine is a no-go for me. KTM has too many negatives for me to go that route, so I’m looking at TM right now. Counterbalanced, KYB forks, 3 gallon tank, a Keihin carb (or FI if that’s your bag…options are good IMO), and comes with a kick starter to supplement the electronics. Checks all my boxes.
@@f5tornadeau can’t argue with that, sound reasoning. I don’t personally own or want to own a GasGas/Rieju but I know they are great bikes… it just annoys me to hear people talking absolute nonsense about things they clearly know nothing about.
I'll stay with my Ktm300xc
Nice bike though
Well, I've been saying it wrong this whole time lol
I would buy a *NEW 2 STROKE* over a fragile 4 stroke that requires 4 times the amount of money in parts and maintenance.
Get a YZ 250X and you’ll be set!
@@theninja001 no estart and no balancer? Otherwise a strong choice.
“4 times the amount of money in parts?! Fragile 4 stroke?!” It’s not the 90s any more you know 🤦🏼♂️
Before you ask, I have a Beta 200 2t and 350 4t and the 4t doesn’t even cost double let alone four times the 2t and I don’t buy cheap parts. Two strokes are great, but the amount of nonsense people come out with in an effort to defend them online is hilarious 😂
@@Mockle07 Only in fantasy land.
@@mt1885 I own both… I’m speaking from experience. I don’t know what planet you two stroke fan boys are from with the crap you come out with. My 2018 KTM 4 stroke had zero problems in the 3 years/200 hours I had with it other than a sensor needing to be replaced and I did the piston at 180 hours… “fragile” 🤦🏼♂️😂
Welcome to 2018. It's a repop of the Gas Gas 300. Other than color and a few minor details, it's a copy.
No copy here…!
@@scannorse
It couldn’t be anymore of a copy. They are literally using the very tooling from Gas Gas!
In the old Gas Gas factory.
Sure a couple things are different.
But I’ll bet $1 every part on the 2018 EC300 bolts right on this bike.
Duplicate.
Copy.
Clone.
It is the same as a 2019 Gas Gas EC 300, which is a great and reliable bike!

@@vasilisdedes5100 …but changed/improved
Thought was Chinese bike? If it was I wouldn’t even think about buying it!
Spanish. Made in the same factory as the old gas gas. Nothing about the bike is Chinese.
Sounds like a Chain saw I have.
Rye jew

same as ktm but diff suspension . same motor as ktm and proven and cheaper
No , KTM has absolutely nothing to do with this bike .
No its the same old gas gas models before ktm
gas gas wild 300 arent those ktm based

Wait till you need a part
And you can order and get it within a week just like any ktm part. I should know, I own one.
I get everything within a week!
And when I say everything, I mean Everything!
Easy in the US.
I dont care if it's a good bike, I dont like the name, it's even worse than Beta......dont these companies have PR departments?
Those names go back many decades. I'm sure they sounded a lot better back then.
Kinda silly to discount it for that reason don't you think? At least it's better than Ruidosa
At least it have a name, instead of just 3 letters….
Really?
This is a very mature argument! 🤣
Bulltaco, greeves, Maico, etc
KTM? And orange?
Why would they give it a Chyna name ? Bad business choice !
