Leimert Park is great. I performed on the World Stage on my Alto and Tenor. There was a woman who played piano amazingly well. She played all the standards and I performed RecordeMe by Joe Henderson and several other pieces that she knew by heart. This woman didn't need music, she just knew how to play all the standards. This was back in 2005. I highly doubt she is still with us today. I wish I knew her name, but I just got on stage and performed with her. I also used to play the supper house in SilverLake with my friend Zane, this was well before your time Joey. It was always fun playing LA. Joey, I'm inspired by you. Thank you for your contribution to music and the alto sax. We need more cats like you here in LA.

Los Tacos in WeHo was the spot for me and my friends. Like you said Joey, eveyone has their place in LA that means something to them.
