I just found your channel in the last week or so and I can't stop watching them. Where have you been all my life? :-) This is some good stuff. I put down my first app of the Nxt-Bio pack on my Zoysia. Thanks Matt!
Howdy Matt! Thank you for the videos on the RTF. Do you have any Summer time updates on this project? I'm just curious of what your feelings and opinions are , now that you're a little further into it? ✌️
That's actually pretty impressive with them big grubs..grass still green.. I just planted my supersonic RTF from mountain view seeds, we will see how it goes!
I just spread some of that seed today; I am curious to see what result I will get. I spread it like any other seed, but nest time I will use a slice seeder. Barenbrug better come through
crap so even with the grubs present the grass doesn't necessarily need to start browning to know they are there? would that be practical to know whether you have grubs or not to just dig up and look? BTW, great video and which tall fescue is that that does Rhizomatious?
streetstylz (RPR) regenerating perennial ryegrasses are out there. They spread by determinate stolons, Turf Star by Barenburg, Sideways by ?, and maybe a couple more. I'm sure we will see more in the future as well.
Definitely trying the N-ext products this year. I started with a bio stimulant pack to get up and going, and am now putting together my order for customer yard applications this week. Your Bermuda is greening up too!! Looking good. My Bermuda is greening up significantly, and looks like there is starting to be signs of life/runner growth developing. We got a good heavy thunderstorm last night (LONG overdue) so with that...turf should really start improving.
None of those products will hurt your lawn...using the Next products will make the Milogranite more available to the lawn...Matt will know the chemistry behind it though.
One supplier said they were waiting to hear from the manufacturer whether it is going to be discontinued. Interesting. Sygenta's Meridian page pushes $Acelepryn$. Label says "Apply up to 45 days before the historical peak of adult flight to 2nd instar grub of the species being targeted." Soooo, now? prolawn.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/lawn-grub-control-northern-va.jpg Any experience? Is there a generic for Thiamethoxam?
I bit disappointed at you Matt, what you were pointing at wasn’t rhizomes. If you slow down the video to .25x @ 5:19 you can clearly see an actual rhizomes ( light colored stalk curving upward ) very similar to a bluegrass. Or maybe you mixed it with some kbg seeds when you did the reno? by mistake maybe? coz’ that rhizomes is pretty identical to a kbg.
Huh? This is the pretty clearly a rhizome, produced from fescue, specifically rhizomatous tall fescue from mountain view seeds. Maybe the camera makes it hard to see how fleshy white it is?
Matt will you do another follow up on this Fescue lawn. Show us how it is doing . Give us your thoughts on this type of Fescue
So, wetting agent (Air8) vs bulk density changer (airate)
I absolutely love this channel... bro you teach me more than I can possibly imagine
Thanks so much, brother!
Can you please do a follow up!
Man I’ve been wanting to see these results! Very nice brother! Looking forward to the fall follow up to see how much more it fills in. Good job!
Is there an update on this? Im looking to switch to RTF
Can you scarify rtf lawn or even tall fescue lawn ? I can't afford a core aerator unfortunately
I'm a bit of a skeptic on the Rizomatous Tall Fescue... I really want it to happen, but aren't those just tillers? Maybe long tillers?
Does anyother tall fescue spread at all

How did this fill in over time?
I just seeded their Winner’s Circle lateral spreading blend about 3 1/2 weeks ago, looking fabulous so far.
Got a TruGreen ad when I opened this video on my phone. Too funny. :-D Last year the Crown Jewel blend had LS 1000 in it. I'll have a look see.
The bermuda on AIR-8 is doing surprisingly well, and man, that lush customer's grass. That's a thing of beauty.
Still got a ways to go. End of this year it should be on point.
Howdy Matt! Thank you for the videos on the RTF. Do you have any Summer time updates on this project? I'm just curious of what your feelings and opinions are , now that you're a little further into it?
✌️
I am in Tennessee, and looking to maybe put this on my lawn . Where would be a good place to look into getting Rtf seed from?
Dickens turf, contact is in video description
Thx Matt, you rock!!!!
Are you going to spray the whole yard with meridian or spot spray?
I can't decide whether I am more encouraged by the Air-8 or the lateral spread!
Nice hat!!
Does air-8 really work??
No lmao use a arotrar it will work air 8 is a gimmick just like pre workouts this world is all about it's promotions + big bucks.
*I have tall fescue taking over my fine fescue. How do I get rid of Tall Fescue without damaging my fine fesque?*
Khaleefa X Segment Herbicide
Thank you Mr. Matt! Hey boss what's a good base fert to put down at time of seeding and aeration besides the gcf humates and such?

Where do we get RFT
Good video Sr
What maker rtf is this

Where is this from I want to buy the same thing
Mountain View Seeds - I would call your distributors and see if they distribute Mountain View Seeds
@@TheGrassFactor thanks buddy i really appreciate i plan to mix it with perennial ryegrass and see what happens
@@TheGrassFactor is there a specific one since there are so many Thos of tall fescue
@@manga669 in that video I was using a blend of Valkyrie, Spider, and Screamer I believe

Low populations of grubs won't brown. I could see brown in the canopy though, slight hue. Turf types I used listed in description
Good video with the close up. I am using Traverse 2 SRP in NC. Very impressed so far with some filling in. It’s slow but worth it.
What height do you cut this grass?
3-4"
Now if only there was a rhizomatous perennial rye

Hey 'Grass Farm' 🚜 out of Morgan Hill, CA & Gilroy, CA
Grows the double dwarf champion mix 90/10 with kbg
You are the man at explaining turf stuff. Can I still use the Next RGS and air8 if I put down Milo?
None of those products will hurt your lawn...using the Next products will make the Milogranite more available to the lawn...Matt will know the chemistry behind it though.
I got a grass seed with Mustang tall fescue last fall and it seems to be going gangbusters. Had nice runners
Awesome!
I would love to see and hear about the spring seed you did and tips for spring seeding. Love your channel, Matt!
You can definitely see a difference in between AIR -8. And aeration

Is $140/17oz reasonable for Meridian?
Sounds about right

Interesting!
Bathroom deals 😂
Heavy rain down there or excessive irrigation?
That is great news. Now the only thing it needs is low mowing capability.
No doubt, pipe dream though
turf type short fescue ls
You don’t use Dylox 6.2 for grub control?
Not usually, too much resistance. Hammers beneficials too hard
The Grass Factor gotcha bud, good to know. Glad you cut that plug out of the ground huh??? Thanks

that RTF looks healthy and thick
Dug up a @#$%^& grub last weekend while harvesting my @#$% POA fields in my lawn here in Cary, NC... treatment down pronto like!!!
I am trying to kill my sections of tall fescue. Looks like I'll dig it up.
So what seed did you use? Is this Barenbrug RTF?
Actually... I just read the description.
I use the same seed and I am definitely seeing it spread. I’ll send u some pictures. Is it “thegrassfactor@gmail?

The Grass Factor really.. can I ask why?
Honestly, don't want to
The music sucked so bad that I could not watch.
