    I grew up in Reut.
the city of modiin is crime agaist the nature.
One of the most brutal manifestations of the destruction of nature I have seen in my life.
Inefficient use of space and resources in a highly ecologically sensitive area.

I found the opposite to be the case. With the city of Modiin being 50% green space, it is quite a nice city that doesn’t feel too crowded and is well spaced out

The problem with this city, first of all, is that it is too spacious and wastes a lot of space that is very ecologically sensitive and full of Israeli/Palestinian heritage value. The city was built in a monotonous way that does not take into account the natural topography of the area and imposes on the hills an American-style suburban city that is based on cars, not the type of city that is suitable for such an area The city was built in a very wasteful way and lacks uniqueness in relation to the area in which it is located. If you are building a city from the beginning, then you should first build an efficient transportation system that will reduce the need for private cars and efficient employment centers before encroaching on more and more huge and valuable areas in this small and dense country... these are not huge plains in the United States or waste land in an arid desert, this is the green lung of The State of Israel for God's sake! Fortunately, there are still quite a few untouched hills and natural areas and many archaeological sites in the area, but if the real estate sharks were allowed to take control of them, they would have disappeared a long time ago... the fight is not over yet... and grass that consumes a lot of water is not called "50% green" It might be the opposite, I hope you understand what I'm saying and thank you for the answer!
