I aint a huge fan of dyspo But vegeta gt is my fav character in the update!
Fun fact:most of the attacks that pass through are energetic spheres (and almost all of those attacks are from characters that gave vegeta a traumatic experience)

@@michaelbuckingham3674 I was referring to what bardock says, its a joke from one of his other videos.
I already knew Vanishing ball would break it cause it was literally the first attack I tested, so I thought almost every attack would break it too and stopped testing, I was very surprised to see all of the attacks it blocks
It seems that the attacks that go through or break it are attacks that even if they hit a barrier they still continue instead of banishing like most laser based attacks like the Kamehameha that as soon as they hit the barrier do not continue their effect.

I think the reason why one handed spirit bomb went through the barrier is because it’s a ki attack the doesn’t activate until it reaches max activation time comes into contact with character model.
Edit: after watching the video it seems most attacks that register activation through contact with character model goes through the barrier, any attacks that already start with an active hurtbox like beam’s ki blast are rejected.

So I counted 14 super attacks that can go through Shield Barrier. Cell clearly has the best attacks to fight Vegeta GT.
Spirit Bomb, Big Bang Attack, Recoome Eraser Gun, Gravity Impact, All Clear, Perfect Shot, Vanishing Ball, Gigantic Omega, Bluff Kamehameha, Big Bang Kamehameha, Riot Javelin, Psycho Barrier, Rough Ranger, Full Power Energy Wave (Super).
Full power energy wave is an ult so it’d overpower it, but it is a super for full power jiren

Gigantic omega is a strike attack so I don’t think it counts because on a strike build, that blast scales with strike damage and counts as a strike super, just like the blast in divine retribution

Is really interesting to see how some of the attacks that do break that shield work different from the attacks that dont like... One would think the ki explosion works as each explosion seems to be a unique hit instead of something that remains stationary causing damage like the attacks that dos break it that hit the shield and do damage overtime.

It seems only presence type blasts work. Basically, if the blast functions independent of the user from the moment you press the button, it's a presence type.
Its usually easy to find out, because when they hit something, they hang in the air until their duration ends.
Both Bojack and 17 said “my barrier is better”
This shield is beaten by Genkidama, Big bang, Recoom :D, All clear, Gravity impact, Vanishing ball, Gigantic Omega, Bluff kamehameha, Big bang kamehameha, Bardock ball(s), psycho barriere, Rough ranger, Full power energy wave

I'm fine with it not being able to block ultimates, but I hate that it goes away if you get hit with a physical attack.
Makes its usefulness non existent. Who pops off random energy attack other than noobs? I could see it against busrts Kamehameha. Cause thats got a fast launch and at close range. And a few other, but very situational.

Remember any basic removes the shield as does most strike moves. Tail slicer goes through it as does big bang. Imo this move is kind of useless.
I guess Cell is just built different.

I wonder if there was a reason for the attacks that worked, or if it was just a bug? I would also be curious to see if these attacks perform differently against Shield Barrier online, as many of the games mechanics function differently in PvP.

Not really its bad, any basic will remove it, any strike will remove it and a couple of supers go through it like tail slicer and big bang.

Also Also (PERSONAL OPINION) GT Vegeta is the best thing to come from GT this man was ready to turn up in Super 17 arc and especially Shadow Dragon arc, all the way to the end

Shield Barrier is way too good of a skill
I love how Kid Goku broke the barrior but these Gods of Desctruction and Angels which are said to be even more powerful can't break the shield.
