I love seeing Tsukki communicating more with the team, like he's so sassy to Hinata and Kageyama bec they're first years like him, but he's so polite to the 2nd and 3rd years. Even when he was instructing their timing for the blocks, it was always so polite bec they always have at least one upperclassman with the three-person blocks. 14:11 A trivia about Tendou's song. The melody of the song was come up by his VA himself. One day the director just gave him the lyrics and told him to "sing however you like". I love the VA's creativity and how the director creating opportunities to him, proving that voice actors aren't just people reading scripts but sometimes their adlibs also make memorable impacts.
"This whole team is made of really cute guys." Yes, finally some reactor sees it too :D I always wondered why they translated Semi's line to Shirabu like this. If I remember correctly, he tells him something along the lines of - Be careful how much you toss to Ushijima (as in, he should not overwork Ushijima). That's why he reacts the way he does when Shirabu answers him like 'Yeah, yeah, whatever.' - it's worth noting Semi is also a setter so he knows what he's talking about.
Ahahaha they really are!! I initially thought Semi got mad cause Shirabu said it really calmly and understandingly (?) Instead of being like "oh yes I understand!" and maybe Semi was expecting a little more respect or something but now I get it!
Actually semi said "Don't forget to toss to Ushijima" as in make sure to toss him. Their strategy is to use ushijima when they want a bunch of points. And shirabu said "yes got that".. He wasn't disrespectful more so as nonchalant. Their interaction will make more sense in light of future episodes
it's good to keep in mind that shiratorizawa is much more used to 5 sets than any other team, by the fact they've been to nationals for 3 years straight. their stamina is built different than other teams, they don't tire as easily.
I think that the best way to describe Tendou's block methods is with body language and understanding the personality of his opponents, it is a guess but not a random one, in the truth you could say that he is reading, but not just the ball, but the players and what they will do.
