I needed this video! You’ve inspired me to finally carve out some time to do this for me and my kiddos this week, and the whole holding onto books is something I too struggle with because books have always been a favourite toy and so many sweet moments were shared while reading to my kiddos 🥹 I feel so ready to got through everything my little ones have and it’s the perfect time to get it done as Christmas is fast approaching 🌲
We have a little girl and we own just a little part of what you showed. At this stage she loves to watch some books or play with everything she gets in her hands😅.I declutter her clothes regularly cause we are living in a small space. ☺️
will you please make a video after Christmas showing how you incorporate all the new items your children receive? Especially now that you have everything nicely organized and set up as is
I also have a 2 year old and a 14 month old. Also hoping to get pregnant soon with baby 3 :D you're doing great. I've recently started a youtube channel and you have inspired me lots. Nice to know there are other mamas with kids close so close in age!!! It can be hard :D
This was a fun video (probably because I have helped people declutter as a life coach in carbon footprint reduction). I think you broke down your items really well. I like that you rotate toys to that one area. You know what is used and loved, and that is what is important. I raised my children in a minimalist home, so they learned how to declutter and let things go early on around your kids' ages. It was a great lesson to have them understand that toys they didn't play with could possibly be better loved elsewhere. They gave a nice train set to a little boy in need at our church one year because they realized they hadn't touched it for a year (completely their idea) and the parents and child were really thankful about it. I used to tell my family members to give them only educational toys or give them money. They LOVE cars, so they learned to save for their own cars when they were about ten. Now my oldest is about to turn 17 and will be buying his first car with all the money saved for all these years and he is really glad about it. We are a bit unconventional, but they have always been grateful and never complained (and they don't like stuff). I think it is good you decluttered books too. I gave all my books to my brother for his kids (had them choose what they wanted) and donated the rest to our library. I kept one book . . .and now I have an infant and still have that book, and have only a handful of books for my little one. I love children's books too. We go to the library every week.
Just out of curiosity, do you still have your Lovevery subscription? We have had ours for over a year now and have loved it, but I am curious about the KiwiCo one and if the toys are all very similar. Do you have both subscription or just KiwiCo now?!
Is a declutter of the kids toys something you do before Christmas?! 🎄
Just did it this past weekend! Makes me feel better knowing we will have new stuff coming in 🙂

These videos make me feel so motivated!
Those stacking cups live in our bathroom too! 😅 its perfect!
Where are your 2 toy storage cabinets from?
I would be interested in purchasing some of the toys you mentioned selling! Do you do Poshmark?

Currently just KiwiCo crates! 🤍 agree that there can be a lot of similar toys across both!
