  • Starting to look good. Got the roof sorted out, the bodywork finished and the wiring pretty much done. Just have to put it all together which i'll do off camera. Next video will be the final one. 👍

    I suspected that the blade of the dremel was going to break, it is always at this time that you have to be very careful.
    I think that to make false rivets over the entire length you had to spend a lot of time there. Anyway your work is splendid, I think I can not say better. Very good result with the lights on and a little smoke inside the trailer will give more realism. It seems to me that in some refrigerated trailer there are two overhead lamps in the trailer, but maybe you've already planned them. Can't wait to see the next video.
    And in addition we were treated to hip hop music in shaking the sheet of metal 😄

      Yes my friend very scary, it hit me in the neck pretty hard, Good thing I was wearing glasses. I can't imagine the damage it would do if it bounced off my eye, I don't even want to think about it. Anyway, probably no lights, too much of a pain in the ass. Also I thought the sheet metal more like tribal music than hip hop 😂

      @satorrotas 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@westernsharpie I go for tribal hip hop 😄 Yes, these blades are very dangerous when they break, and you are right to wear protections. Well, too bad it will be without lights in the trailer, the one who will load it with pallets will have to have a flashlight with him 😂
      Have a good day my friend 😉

      @@westernsharpie Mansfield bar is the actual name. Actress Jane Mansfield was killed when she rear ended a tractor trailer. Thus the law requiring the part that caries her name.

      Thanks Rick, ya the day it gets hooked up with be the best, I have the corresponding air lines on my rig to hook right on to this thing. Should look really good. 👍

      Scared the hell outta me. It bounced off my neck pretty hard and fast, first thing I thought of was if it had hit me in the eye that woulda been ugly. I had my glasses on anyway, but sometimes I get lazy and don't put them on. This was a wake up call.

    LOVE THE ROOF!! I can't imagine anyone not wanting to flap a Tin Sheet!!! 😂😜 It looks great, and gives it a more finished look.
    I forgot about lights above the Doors.... Wonder how I can pull that off on stock Tamiya?

    • @westernsharpie
      @westernsharpie  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Carmine! Ya the piece of tin worked out good! Pain in the ass getting home from Home Depot though lol. Thats a good question about the lights on a stock door frame. I think they are just stickers. I know it's been done because you see guys with marker lights and they have those tamiya doors. I'm sure it could be done easy enough, but hiding the wires probably isn't. I want to be able to open the door on my trailer and not see wires everywhere. Takes away from the scale look. 👍

      .... There's one way that the Nissan Murano I bought my Wife pays me back a little! Excellent Load area for bigger things!! 😁
      The Wiring for the Lights, I've got figured out.... OLD 70's Hobbs Reefers had Plywood wall liners, which helps hide things.
      It's drilling through the Frame. 😳 UGH
      The side lights I've done were relatively easy. Simple 3mm holes through the Aluminum rail. The stock Tamiya Door Rails aren't as easy! I may just end up using Decals!!
      .... If you remember my story - I've FINALLY got the Beier USM RC-2 FIGURED OUT!!!! 😁😁
      So I'm back to work after a too long hiatus.

      @westernsharpie  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CarminesRCTipsandTricks Awesome, it's a lot more work that you think. Decals and it's done lol. That beier unit is much nice than the tamiya one. Look forward to seeing and hearing it if and when you post on your channel. Take care Carmine

      It is nice... But a PITA to get going!!!
      It's getting easier as I'm getting familiar with it. The Beier IS quite better than the Tamiya MFC Units, because I can make it sound like ANYTHING I want.
