Avenged Sevenfold has been my favorite band for a decade and you always get a little nervous when your favorite band comes out with a new album. But LIBAD is easily one of the best albums I've heard. Every song is so powerful
i was the same way when i heard it, i was trying to share it to everyone i knew because of how much it effected me, this album will definitely go down in history as one of the greats
I just got the new album last week and it's the only thing I've been listening to in my car ever since and also on ordinary i keep it on repeat a few times. It's just such a groovy cool song and catchy
I saw them at Madison Square Garden on Friday. Living Colour and FIR opened for them and both were incredible. But these guys are fucking gods on stage. Love to hear the hits, but when they played off the new record, it was something else entirely. The energy was there and they played that shit note for note. I was most impressed by Shadows. His vocal performance was one of the best I’ve ever seen.
I hope to see some breakdowns of these new songs like these done on some of there older stuff, the writing and recording process had to of been interesting lol
Great album! 💯 listen to it first time on *cid last Saturday, got even more attached to it, like you normally do on the fun stuff, but made a lot of sense 🔥
I was at the show that M shadows talked about in Atlanta. He was totally right about them opening up for Metallica. I knew that they were somewhat at the mercies of Metallica's setup. I am going to see them as the headliner in a couple of months and am totally pumped, especially in support of LIBAD!
I dig the new album. Maybe not so much at first, but after a few spins it gave some perspective about where they are as a band at this point (though I hope the next album is different). While everybody is entitled to their own opinions, it still sucks that both Matt and Johnny have went out of there way to say that they're fine with people hating it. I think the one thing that might have been off-putting Is that the music is avant-garde rather than the traditional A7X sound we're used to. I wouldn't be surprised if they took a ton of influence from Mr. Bungle because you can see it throughout the album.
What’s the traditional a7x sound tho Every album they’ve made has sounded different Nightmare sounds nothing like city of evil/self titled Waking the fallen is nothing like httk or the stage Or are we just considering ‘traditional a7x’ what we’ve already listened to multiple times
I think if there was still enough money for record companies to employee people records would sell as much as they did to market the old ways. Also it starts with the family my nieces know you should buy music and collect records, CDs, DVDs, books, etc.
I love every album until The stage and the new i dont like them at all The Stage has 2 okay songs 2 God Damn " the title track but it has a 34 second noise crap intro
2 okay songs? Damn. God damn maybe, but The Stage is a masterpiece of a song. The album has amazing songs all throughout. Fermi Paradox, Creating god, exist, Paradigm, Higher, Roman Sky... That album is stacked
Thanx for having me🤙
you rock my man

I am an old rocker from the 70's, a new Avenged Sevenfold fan. This new album is amazing. I can't stop listening.Great interview!
it’s incredible
I think Johnny really isn't getting much credit on his bass playing on this album.
He's great
He was absolutely laying it down back in the day on city of evil for example as well.
Yeah man he's been killing it for time now!
Johnny's bad ass!🔥
We hail Johnny
i was the same way when i heard it, i was trying to share it to everyone i knew because of how much it effected me, this album will definitely go down in history as one of the greats

every time someone comes in Romania doesn't go to the second city the formal capital of the country just in that shithole of capital.
Most metalheads(I am also a metalhead) are notorious snobs, unfortunately.
i wouldn’t call it snobbery i would call it closed minded
I love every album until The stage and the new i dont like them at all The Stage has 2 okay songs 2 God Damn " the title track but it has a 34 second noise crap intro
